Mac
Notifications, messages, calls, photos, files and your phone's screen — on your Mac. No cloud, no account: everything stays on your own Wi-Fi, end-to-end encrypted.
Your phone and your Mac, on one local network — no cloud, no account.
Nearlink connects your Android phone directly to your Mac. See your notifications, reply to messages, download your photos, use your phone's screen — all over your own Wi-Fi. No account to create, and your data never reaches a server, because we don't run one.
NOTIFICATIONS
• Your phone's notifications arrive in macOS Notification Center
• Click one and the matching app opens on your phone
• Dismiss it on the Mac and it's dismissed on the phone too
• Notifications already waiting on your phone show up the moment you connect
MESSAGES AND CALLS
• Your SMS history on the Mac, in a native Messages-style interface
• New messages arrive instantly; type your reply on your Mac keyboard and send
• Your address book on the Mac: search it, start a voice or video call
• Answer, decline, end or speaker an incoming call straight from your Mac
PHOTOS, VIDEOS AND FILES
• Browse photos and videos in a grid grouped by month, select and download
• Automatic local backup: every time your phone connects, new photos come across — the same photo is never downloaded twice, and it resumes where it stopped
• Browse your phone's folders and pull any file across
• Drop files from your Mac onto your phone: drag from Finder, they land in Downloads
SCREEN AND CAMERA
• See and use your phone's screen live on your Mac: tap, swipe, type with your keyboard
• Turn your phone's camera into a Mac webcam — it shows up in Zoom, FaceTime and QuickTime, with a front/back switch
SMALL THINGS THAT HELP
• Two-way clipboard sync
• Find your lost phone with sound — it rings even on silent
WHY NEARLINK
• No cloud, no account — a 2-minute setup with a single QR code
• End-to-end encrypted (AES-256-GCM with ECDH key exchange); only your two devices can read the traffic
• 100% local — it works even with no internet connection
• A native macOS interface: sidebar, Messages-style chats, System Settings-style preferences, light and dark theme
• 13 interface languages, matching your Mac's language automatically
• No ads, no tracking, no subscription — a one-time purchase
HOW IT WORKS
1. Install the Nearlink Android app on your phone
2. Show the QR code on your Mac and scan it with the phone
3. From then on it reconnects by itself whenever both are on the same Wi-Fi
WHAT YOU NEED
• An Android 8.0 or newer phone
• Your Mac and phone on the same local network
• Some features ask for a permission on the phone (notification access, SMS, contacts, files); each permission you grant turns on that feature — none of them are required
Ratings & Reviews
- This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
Two-way connection: even when your Mac's IP address changes, the link to your phone comes back on its own — no need to scan the QR code again.
Your phone now also accepts incoming connections, so a session is established within seconds when you open Nearlink.
Battery use on the phone while disconnected has been reduced.
