Don't buy a used car before you know what you're looking at.
CarTick gives used-car buyers a calm, evidence-first inspection before committing or spending money on a professional pre-purchase inspection (PPI).
SCREEN THE DEAL-BREAKERS FIRST
Run a focused 10–15 minute Quick Scan for identity, VIN, structural, leak, warning-light, brake and test-drive red flags.
INSPECT WITHOUT FORGETTING
Continue through up to 389 guided checks covering documents, exterior, chassis, cabin, engine bay, tyres, electronics and the test drive. Every check explains why it matters and what to watch for.
PRESERVE REAL EVIDENCE
Mark Looks Good, Concern, Red Flag or N/A. Add exact notes and photos while you stand beside the car, and flag questions for an independent mechanic.
MAKE A CLEARER DECISION
See a transparent Decision Brief—no fake universal vehicle score. Compare shortlisted cars side by side and share a PDF brief with a mechanic, friend or seller.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account. No ads. Your vehicles, checklist answers, notes and inspection photos stay on your device unless you choose to share a brief.
CarTick is a screening and documentation tool. It does not certify a vehicle and does not replace an independent mechanic, vehicle-history report, title/lien check, or professional PPI. If a seller refuses independent verification, pause.
Quick Scan and the first inspection section are free. CarTick Pro unlocks all 24 sections and up to 389 checks, unlimited cars, side-by-side comparison, PDF Decision Briefs and unlimited evidence photos. Choose Lifetime (one-time purchase), Annual or Monthly. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
