Join what locals actually do. An experience exchange with no money between members, from a sauna on the Lower East Side to demolition day in Austin.
Travel like you know someone there.
Xenia is an experience exchange: travelers join locals in what they actually do. Give an experience, get an experience. Members show each other around the places, people, and rituals you only reach by knowing someone: a sauna club on the Lower East Side, demolition day at a house in Austin, a full moon gathering in Dana Point, the ride up to the Maroon Bells.
Open the app and the club's best plans come first, wherever they are, then what members near you are up to, with room for one more. Ask for a spot, and the host proposes a day and where to meet. At home, you bring another member along to something you were already doing.
Spots are what keep it even, and the whole rule is three lines:
Every member starts with a spot.
Bring someone along, earn a spot.
Spend spots anywhere in the club.
No money changes hands between members. A spot cannot be bought. It is only ever earned by bringing a member along, which is what keeps every member equal once they are inside.
Members verify their identity with a photo ID and a selfie, and the ID verified badge shows who has. Every member agrees to the same house rules on the way in.
Join with your phone number, build your profile, and share what you love doing.

Travel like you know someone there. Xenia is a hospitality exchange, and the app now opens on that promise.
Explore leads with the club's best, wherever it is, in a new row called Worth the trip: a sauna on the Lower East Side, demolition day in Austin, a full moon gathering in Dana Point, and more.
Signing in is one calm wait now, the club's token from the moment the app opens to the first screen, instead of a run of different screens. And a phone set to dark mode no longer flashes from dark to light on launch.

Joining now starts with what the club is: a cultural exchange of local life. Your list asks you to make each line specific to your neighborhood, and a line that says too little gets one quiet question.
Every adventure says how many can come along, one to five, set by its host, and a date that’s already full is turned away before anyone plans around it. The editor asks for a description.
A profile without a photo shows the member’s own adventure and their initials, with a map of the neighborhood. Long titles are no longer cut off, the Explore tab brings you back from the map, and waiting shows the club’s own token.
3.6 Sep 30
Joining is now a short list: a few things you’d do with a friend visiting from out of town, one line each, and where home is.
Asking to come along is simpler. Send a note and when you’re around, and the host proposes a day, a time of day and where to meet. Say yes, or suggest another time.
Editing an adventure is five rows, Settings has one Home address, and anything without a photo gets the club’s own drawing. The neighborhood map on every adventure page shows the streets again.
3.5 Sep 29
Your profile and your plans now show you what you have not filled in yet, instead of showing an example where your answer should be.
The short questions in the plan editor answer where they are asked, rather than opening a screen each.
And Explore shows the whole club again.
3.4 Sep 27
Every plan that had no photograph now has a drawing made for it, so nothing in the club shows a blank sky where a picture should be.
If one of your own plans is still missing a photograph, you can add it from the plan itself now, in one tap, instead of hunting for a row in the editor.
And the editor says which plan you are in, shows you what you have not filled in yet, and answers its short questions where it asks them instead of opening a screen for each one.
3.3 Sep 26
Opening a date is where you already are.
Host is now a card for each of your plans, with Add dates right on it, and the same calendar opens from Edit the details. A date has a most and no least: set how many can come and leave it there.
3.2 Sep 25
The words on the front of the club say what it actually is.
"Take part in local life anywhere." replaces a line that described how arriving somewhere feels without ever saying what happens here. The same plainer wording runs through the welcome screens.
3.1 Sep 25
Clearer words throughout.
Your first spot now says what it actually gets you: one seat, anywhere in the club. Plans, postcards and your profile all read in plainer language.
And the club has a website worth visiting: miracleclub.xyz.
3.0 Sep 20
The club is Xenia now, an exchange of local life.
New words throughout: what you open is a plan, and what you have done is the times you made room. Nothing is called an adventure any more.
The website it points at is miracleclub.xyz.
2.8 Sep 15
Xenia can ask to reach you now.
The app has always been able to send a notification when somebody asks for a spot, confirms one, or writes to you. It had simply never asked permission, so it never sent any. It asks once, at the end of setup, and you can say no.
The download is a little smaller too.
2.6 Sep 14
The club is called Xenia now.
Same club, same people, same adventures. Xenia is the old Greek word for the bond between a host and a guest, which is what this has always been about.
Nothing you have made has moved.
2.5 Sep 6
Opening your first experience asks a kinder question.
The screen that asks what you will bring people to used to explain the mechanics. It now says the thing that actually stops people: it does not have to be special, and most of the best ones are things people already do in a week.
Everything you tap is easier to hit. Buttons and links across the app were as small as 38 points in places. They all clear the 44-point minimum now, which is the size a thumb actually needs.
2.4 Sep 2
The map is sharp, and so are your photographs.
The map on an experience page was asking for tiles a third of the size it drew them at, which turned street names to mush. That is fixed.
Photographs are kept large enough for the screen they fill. A picture taken on a phone is tall and narrow, and the app was storing it too narrow for the size it draws, so covers and faces looked soft. New pictures are kept wide enough, and one that is too small to look good is turned down as you choose it, with the reason.
Postcards print the picture you chose. Add your own photograph and that is what goes on the front. If it is too small for paper, the app says so while you are choosing, rather than after the card is in the post.
2.3 Aug 24
The app answers the moment you touch it.
Confirming, declining and cancelling now happen as you tap, instead of after a pause — and you feel each one. Explore no longer waits on your messages to load, so the club is there when you open it.
Opening your first experience keeps everything you give it. Your photograph is saved the second you choose it, so closing the app and coming back finds your work where you left it rather than an empty screen. The first question asks the thing it actually means: what experience will you bring people to.
Photographs are full size again. Faces across the club were being stored much smaller than the app draws them, which left them looking rough on a profile. They are back at full resolution.
Every card you can open, you can now swipe down to close.
2.2 Aug 21
Going back works, everywhere.
Tap back and you land where you were — the same page, at the same place on it. No jumping to the top, and no watching the app scroll itself down to find your spot again. Opening the map, moving between your plans, or checking a price no longer loses the list behind it.
Addresses find the right place. Typing a street or a house number now looks where you actually are, instead of offering a town on the other side of the world — and it still finds your address if you have moved.
Opening your first experience keeps what you type. Step back and your answer is still there. You can also set what it costs from the last screen before you open the door, including free, and it is still there if you close the app and come back.
Sharing an invite now sends the app itself, so whoever you invite can open it straight away.
2.1 Aug 21
A fix for the one that mattered: on some iPhones the setup and edit screens could zoom in and stay zoomed, dragging the whole app with them, with no way back out. The app no longer zooms at all — the way the rest of your phone behaves.
Texts read better too. A message now shows you what was actually said, and which experience it is about, so you can tell what needs you without opening anything.
1.9 Aug 18
Signing in is a phone number and a texted code now. There is no password to make or to forget.
The app opens on a short introduction to the club, rebuilt from the ground up.
And when a member asks you for a spot, books one, or writes to you, the club texts you and sends a notification. A plan can come together the same day instead of the same week.
1.8 Aug 17
Joining the club is quicker now. Tell us about the experience you would bring people to, where you meet, and when it runs, and it goes up for members right away. Your photo and profile details can wait until you are in. Plus a fresh look for experiences that are still waiting on their first photo.
1.7 Aug 14
A clearer name for what this is: a neighborhood experience club. Same club, same people, better words for it.
1.6 Aug 13
Open dates group by month now, and every date carries the photograph of the experience it belongs to. Hosting the same thing every week? Tick Repeat weekly and open a month at once.
Search a place by its name, not just its street.
Bring someone with you when you ask for a spot.
Share an experience as an invitation, with its real photograph on it.
Smaller things: a slow photo upload now says so instead of spinning forever, and the note after an experience arrives on the right evening.
1.5 Aug 11
Small fixes that make the club feel more solid: the map reads more clearly, the passport lays out better on smaller phones, sharing an invite no longer fails quietly, and a spot you spend no longer looks like one you just earned. Behind the scenes, experiences now keep proper local time.
1.4 Aug 10
The map now shows each experience by its own photograph rather than a plain dot, so you can see what is near you before you tap anything. More examples in setup when you are working out what to host. And a handful of fixes: sharing an invite no longer fails silently, and your passport stops celebrating a spot you spent.
