BODY ON THE BAYOU Board the Northern Star, a 1927 New Orleans riverboat where a political kingmaker is found dead during a blackout—and the priceless Serpent's Eye has vanished. HOST THE WHOLE NIGHT Buy one permanent host pass. Create your event, name the cast, assign every role, handle RSVPs and no-shows, guide three rounds, control music and prerecorded host voice, collect accusations, and reveal the truth. PRIVATE CHARACTER FILES Guests download Foul Play and play free. Each invited player can claim only their own public persona, private secret, objective, and round missions. A protected saved copy keeps the case file readable if the party Wi-Fi falters. TWO CRIMES TO SOLVE Guests must identify both Van Dorn's murderer and the thief who stole the Serpent's Eye. Motive is only the beginning: the winning theory must explain the poisoned toast, the staged blackout, and the service corridor. APP-FIRST INVITES Activate a party code, then share one ready-made invitation by text, email, WhatsApp, or any group chat. It includes Foul Play's guest App Store page and the party's unique code. Guests enter their full name in Foul Play, appear in the host's roster, and receive their assigned native case file—no guest email list required. BUILT FOR THE PARTY The full game survives app restarts. Essential roles stay clue-complete. Six critical music cues and nine host announcements work offline, with a 37-track streaming library for extra atmosphere. Foul Play is free to download. Guests play free. Hosting Body on the Bayou requires one $24.99 non-consumable in-app purchase. No subscription or external checkout is used.
