BUILT TO BE KEPT Hold your mornings and the app opens up: new gate scenes drawn from the passages themselves — first light, the shepherd's valley, the burning bush, the empty tomb. Earned by showing up, never bought. A VERSE ON YOUR LOCK SCREEN Home and Lock Screen widgets carry a short verse through the day, at whatever rhythm you choose — hourly, a few times a day, or once. WHEN YOU MISS A DAY Your streak freezes rather than vanishing, if you've earned a freeze. Miss without one and it resets — because a streak that can't break isn't measuring anything. HONEST ABOUT WHAT IT IS VerseGate never sees what you use your phone for. Screen Time permission is used for one thing: putting a lock in front of the apps you picked. Nothing you do leaves your device, because there is nowhere for it to go — the app makes no network requests at all. Calls, messages and alarms are never blocked. An emergency unlock is always there.
