Sudoku that actually lasts. Samurai Sudoku and 16×16 "Super" Sudoku for when you want a puzzle that takes more than a few minutes — and classic 9×9 Sudoku for when you just want a quick one.
These are proper puzzles. The Samurai and Super Sudokus come in four levels of difficulty and none of them are trivial. If you complete one, you will have genuinely solved it. There are no cheats and no hints to carry you past a square you're stuck on. The 9×9 Sudokus come in the same four levels, from a gentle warm-up to genuinely fiendish.

HELP WITH THE LEGWORK, NOT THE THINKING
The app takes care of the bookkeeping so you can concentrate on the puzzle:
• Auto pencil marks that fill in and update every possible number for each square
• Highlight every square a chosen number could go in, so patterns jump out
But nothing here shortcuts the mental process — the solving is still all yours.

Because these grids are large, the app is at its best on a tablet or a large-screen phone. But every grid pinch-zooms, so with a little patience you can play on almost any device.

Streaks no longer reset when you miss a day. You have seven days to complete each daily Sudoku, and your streak only ends if one is still unsolved after that.
Streak freezes are now offered when a streak is about to end, and cover the missed week.
New option to hide completed packs on the 9×9, 16×16 and Samurai lists.
The Calendar year view now shows a tick for each puzzle type completed every day that month.
