EarthSpell: Your Name on Earth
Satellite letter art maker
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Your name, spelled with real satellite photos of letter-shaped places on Earth. Real coordinates, TikTok-ready exports, and it works offline.
Your name is already written on Earth. There are rivers shaped like an S, islands that look like an A, lakes that curve into a perfect J. EarthSpell finds them and spells your name with real satellite images, captured by the NASA/USGS Landsat program.
Every letter is a real place with real coordinates. Tap it and see.
HOW IT WORKS
• Type a name, a word or a short phrase (up to 20 letters)
• EarthSpell spells it instantly, one satellite image per letter
• Tap any letter to swap it with another place on Earth
• Hold a letter to find out where it is: location name, coordinates, source
• Shuffle everything until it feels right
MAKE IT YOURS
• Vertical (9:16) for TikTok, Stories and phone wallpapers, or Square (1:1) for posts
• Backgrounds, letter spacing, location captions, an optional title
• Ready-made styles: Dark, Light, Orbit
EXPORT AND SHARE
• Save a high-resolution PNG to your gallery
• Or export the slideshow pack: one image per letter plus the final reveal, ready to post as a TikTok or Instagram photo carousel
• Your creations stay in History, and favorites never expire
WHY EARTHSPELL IS DIFFERENT
Other "name on earth" apps use fake, computer-styled letters. EarthSpell is a satellite name generator built on the real thing: authentic Landsat photographs of letter-shaped places, from NASA's "Your Name in Landsat" collection. Every letter comes with its real location and coordinates. It looks like satellite art and doubles as a little geography lesson.
FREE, WITH NOTHING ATTACHED
No ads, no account, no purchases. Type a name and go. It works offline too: all images are bundled in the app.
PERFECT FOR
• Your name as a satellite wallpaper
• Couple names, family names and pet names as gifts
• TikTok and Instagram name reveals
• Teachers, students and geography lovers
Satellite imagery: NASA/USGS Landsat, from NASA's "Your Name in Landsat" collection.
EarthSpell is an independently developed application and is not affiliated with or endorsed by NASA, USGS, or the Landsat program.
