Return 1.9.1 shows you when it's reading your note: • Suggest details from my note is now a button in Edit details. While Return reads your note, it says so, and you can cancel. Your suggestions open when they're ready. • Opening Add details shows when Return is reading your note, so details never appear unannounced. • Back up now and iCloud restore points show their progress where you tapped. • A doorway photo shows that it's loading. All of this is free, and your notes stay on your iPhone.

Return 1.9.0 puts what matters first, fills in your notes for you, and adds return visits by phone or message: • Notes that fill themselves in. Write the way you do at the door, like "Read Re. 1:3" or "Next: hope from the Bible", and Return fills in the topic, Scripture and next time, marked Suggested until you change them. Older notes, and notes saved from Siri or Apple Watch, fill in too. • Before you knock, at a glance. The door, the name, what you promised and what they asked come first. Every memory says how long ago it was. • Who the note is with. The saved screen shows who you talked with and when you last talked. Tap Change to move the note to someone else. • Return visits by phone or message. Keep a number, email or account with the app they use. Plan a return visit with no address, and copy what Return can't open. • A new return visit starts with the way you reached them last time. • Apple Watch confirms a saved note with one tap and says it aloud. All of this is free, and your notes stay on your iPhone.

Return 1.8.2 shows your month as a calendar: • Report now opens on the month. Each day shows quiet marks for what it holds: conversations, hours, and return visits you planned. No counts, and nothing marked as missed. • Tap a day to see its conversations, hours and return visits, each one tap away. Add hours for that day right there. • In Conversations, switch from List to Calendar to find a conversation by the day you had it. • Days you marked away show as away. • The calendar is free for everyone, and it reads only what you have already kept in Return. Nothing is read from your calendar app.

Return 1.8.1 draws your month against your goal: • Set a monthly hour goal in Report and the month is drawn against it: what you have recorded, where your rhythm lands, and the hours a week or a day that reach it. Credit hours count, and it says so; you can turn that off. • Mark days away in the goal editor, and the pace spreads what's left over the days you will be out. • Add the Monthly goal widget to your Home Screen, or the Monthly goal complication to your watch face. • The ministry timer opens as a small sheet with hours and minutes up front. Tap the start time if you began earlier, and pause or stop it from the Lock Screen or Apple Watch. • Slide a ruler to set hours, or tap 30m, 1h, 1h30, 2h or 3h. • When a note starts with someone's name, Return keeps it as the person. Someone kept without a name shows as someone you met, with a name offered from your words. • If Apple Intelligence needs a moment longer, what it finds now joins your receipt instead of being lost, or waits on the conversation for you to review. • The keyboard always closes when you tap outside a text box, including the Report’s note. • Supporter: Your rhythm. Return learns the days you usually go out and plans the rest of your month around them. It can also suggest days away from your calendar, and you confirm every one. • Supporter: Private iCloud sync now carries your hours, Bible studies, report, goal and theme to your other devices, and Settings shows when sync last finished. The medium goal widget and the watch face's corner and rectangular complications add the pace and the estimate, and Apple Watch follows your theme. • Your records remain local-first, exportable, and fully available without Supporter.

Return 1.8 knows who a note is about: • Start a note with a name, like "Ana Reyes, lives by the blue gate…", and Return suggests Ana Reyes as the person. When two names are equal, the saved screen offers each one, or you can add a name later. • Say "Search Return" to Siri, or run it from Shortcuts, and Search opens with your words already in it. You can also add the Search Return widget to your Lock Screen. Nothing from your notes is indexed by the system or read aloud. • On a conversation or a person's page, you can ask Siri about what the page shows, only while it is open. • Report makes a card of your service year, your conversations and hours, ready to save or share. • Return Visits and Conversations show a short date beside each row. • A What's new button beside Search shows what changed in each update. • A new Supporter page shows what Supporter includes today and what is still coming. Supporters get a seal with the month they joined and their own name on the bookplate. • The ministry timer counts up in the Dynamic Island and on the Lock Screen, and sits neatly beside the camera. Control Center controls show their icons again, and conversations fit on iPad in portrait. • Your records remain local-first, exportable, and fully available without Supporter.

Return 1.7.2 makes what you see more direct: • Doorway photos now show right away. Before, a saved photo sat behind its description until you tapped it, so a photo you had just taken could look blank. Your description is still read aloud by VoiceOver and still stands in if the photo isn't on this device. • Erasing a person's notes: the button now sits directly under the list of what will be removed, so it is easy to find. • Return no longer covers its screen in the app switcher, so you can see where you were when you switch between Return and a reference such as JW Library. • Your records remain local-first, exportable, and fully available without Supporter.

Return 1.7.1 makes private continuity more dependable: • Automatic iCloud Drive backups: Supporters now start with a daily backup schedule, and Return rebuilds its visible backup folders when they are missing. • Safer restore points: an existing automatic backup is never replaced by another backup created in the same second. • More reliable private sync: Return now carries the required production notification entitlement for CloudKit’s background change delivery. • Your records remain local-first, exportable, and fully available without Supporter.

Return 1.7.0 brings interactive Scripture citations and streamlined navigation: • Scripture citation links: citations in "Your words" (like John 3:16 or Matt 24:14) are now automatically recognized and tappable. Tap any citation to open it directly in JW Library or read it on JW.ORG. • 1-tap navigation handoff: tapping the map direction card opens your preferred navigation app (Apple Maps or Google Maps) directly on a single tap, while long-press retains destination choices. • App launch stability: pre-initialized storage ensures consistent, reliable app startup. • Free core baseline: Fieldbook Light, Fieldbook Dark, Match System, and assisted reference lookup remain free for all publishers.

Return 1.6.1 refines visit preparation and doorstep wayfinding: • Before you knock: wayfinding instructions ("How to find the door") are now elevated above visit outcomes, so you can easily review landmarks and door directions before knocking. • Tactile doorstep controls: clear checkmark glyph on "Mark as visited" and frosted secondary buttons for Capture and Not at home with enhanced contrast and boundaries. • Choose Apple Maps or Google Maps for navigation to a saved place, with walking time shown as you approach. • Person-owned places, simplified return visits, and direct contact options with custom messaging choices. • Free core features: Fieldbook Dark, Match System, and assisted jw.org reference lookup are free for all publishers.

Return 1.6 brings more ways to return prepared. • Choose Apple Maps or Google Maps for a saved place, and see walking time as you approach. • Fieldbook Dark, Match System, and assisted jw.org reference lookup are now free for everyone. • Return Supporter now offers monthly or annual billing for optional private sync, automatic backup, richer maps, reflective views, and additional themes. • Keep each saved place with the person it belongs to, and plan return visits without extra place labels. • Add contact info with a number, email address, shared link, or handle. Choose the messaging service yourself; unsupported contacts stay readable and copyable.

Places map in Directory: See all your saved places together on a map, right from the Places tab in Directory. Place continuity: Adding or linking a place from a conversation connects smoothly to the person and place record. Person-place roles: Easily view and edit how someone is connected to a saved place. Navigation polish: Smoother transitions and route unwinding when moving between places, conversations, and records.

Three places to start: Return now opens on Conversations, Directory and Report. The returns you’ve planned are in Upcoming, under Conversations. Your draft is kept: Tap Done in Capture and your words stay on this device as a draft until you save them. Resume draft picks up where you left off, and Discard draft asks before removing anything. Edit words: Correct a saved conversation’s words at any time. Details you already confirmed are never rewritten without you. Before you knock: The page shows the Next time from the conversation where you planned the return. Change plan sits beside the plan, and Mark as returned stays on the page, with Undo. Next visit: Plan the next visit from any conversation or from a person’s page, even when no day was said aloud. Return now reads dates like “October 15” and “in two weeks”, and “sometime next week” opens the plan on Next week. The plan sheet shows When, Where and Remind me as rows with quick picks. One visit per person, with the day and time read together, like “Tomorrow · 4:00 PM”. Nothing hidden: Conversation and person pages no longer tuck actions into a ⋯ menu. Look for This conversation and This record at the bottom. Discreet mode is gone: Names and notes look the same everywhere. When you switch apps, Return always hides behind its privacy cover, even with Capture open. Reminders still never show a name. Doorways: A door description saves without a photo. A saved photo opens on its description, which VoiceOver reads; tap it to see the photo for 10 seconds. Maps and wayfinding: People and Upcoming share one map button, and a marker opens a small sheet. Open in Apple Maps sits on the Find the door card; Streets / Satellite and Look Around are for Supporters. Setting a pin has Cancel and Save at the top, and the bearing needle now turns the short way across north. iPad: A conversation reads like an open fieldbook page, with a hanging date margin. Maps open beside the list. Report lists its months beside the chosen month, and Settings shows its sections side by side. Apple Watch and widgets: The Next page shows the day and time, the conversation’s Next time, and Not at home. One Return mark across the Watch app, widgets and complications. Timer: On iPhone, the ministry timer sits at the top of the screen, and joins the Capture button while it runs. Saving: If a pin, landmark, doorway, address or monthly goal can’t be saved, Return says so and keeps your changes.

Private iCloud sync: For Return Supporters, your conversations, people, places, and return plans now sync automatically and stay in step across your iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch using your own private iCloud database. Themes and appearance: A refreshed Appearance screen lets you preview complete themes before choosing. Meet Cypress, a calm new theme with olive paper and deep forest-green accents, replacing Dusk. Receipt and capture refinements: On the conversation receipt, suggested details drawn from your own words—such as how you’ll recognise someone—are kept automatically as soon as they appear, and stay editable at any time. Conversation previews are cleaner and avoid repeating names you've already noted. Next return actions: On a person’s record, the next return now includes direct links to Find the door and Change return, making it easy to check the way before you knock or adjust your plans.

If Return said it couldn't open its storage after you updated from an earlier version, this update opens your notes again. Everything saved before that update is still there. A visit you made now closes the return it answered. Tap Met or Sent before you knock, and that return leaves your list. Undo brings it back. Not at home and No answer keep it open. The ⋯ menu adds Mark as returned for a visit you recorded another way, and Change date to move a return without recording anything. Planning a return saves only when you tap Save. Cancel leaves everything as it was. Tomorrow and Next week land at 10 AM instead of carrying the current time, and a return with only a day never gains an invented hour. Return asks about notifications only when you set a reminder. Say a day in your note — "come back next Tuesday afternoon" — and the receipt shows that return, ready to keep or change. Edits you make on the receipt after saving are kept, and you can choose a place there too. Discreet replaces Hide names. It still shows names quietly while your screen is public. Reminders and the return on your Lock Screen now say "Next return" and never show a name or a note. On Apple Watch, Not at home is recorded on the return your watch is showing, and the ministry timer stays in step between your watch and your iPhone. A conversation now opens its person, and a return opens the conversation it came from. Places can be removed from a person or deleted. An ended Bible study stays in view with its sessions, and study sessions appear in a person's history. You can redeem a Return Supporter offer code from Supporter options. Smaller fixes: the first tip no longer covers your receipt, menus open from their button, Find the door says when no pin is saved rather than blaming the connection, and many words now match across iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch.

Places have names. A place you save can be called whatever helps you recognise it — your own words. That name is what every list shows, so several places on one person no longer read the same. The way to a place says which place it is, each place carries its own way there, and the one you usually return to is marked and can be changed. Met at asks once. Choose a place you have already saved, use where you are, or simply write it — any of the three is a complete answer, and words are still enough. Opening a conversation or a planned return offers the way to its place, which is the moment you need it. A spot you pinned can be kept as a place, or recognised as the one you were already standing in. Everywhere you have been is now one list, beside People. Return is now designed for iPad. The Living Fieldbook opens into a multi-column split view on the larger screen: your ministry timer and the roots on the left, and your conversations, returns, people and saved places beside them. Connect a hardware keyboard to move between roots with ⌘1–⌘3, capture with ⌘N, and toggle the timer with ⌘T. Find the door is now one screen. The map fills it, with the direction and distance you need on approach and your own note about the doorway resting on top — no sheet to open, no extra step. What the map can show varies; what you wrote never does, and the essentials still work with no connection. A place's address and its pin are one fact. Change the address and the map moves with it; save a spot and it takes the address it was shown with. Neither can quietly point somewhere the other does not. Saving a spot is one screen too — the map, what is there, and how close Return is willing to claim it. A coordinate Return cannot name is left unnamed rather than guessed at, and the pin still saves. You can now take the doorway photo directly with the camera or choose one you already have. It stays on your device, outside anything that syncs, and erasing a place or a person deletes the picture with it. Conversations, Returns, and Report share one heading, with People alongside Conversations. Do not call is a plain labelled switch on a person, and a returned visit reads more clearly.

Conversations is now where every saved note lives, whether or not it's linked to a person — reach People from there any time you're thinking of someone by name. Returns keeps only the visits you've actually planned, and an earlier-today visit no longer disappears. Find a reference now lets you open jw.org and attach the exact page you found, right from a conversation. Find the door again with a precise pin, doorway photo, landmark notes, and offline wayfinding.

Return is reorganized around one clear loop: capture a conversation, confirm what matters, and see it waiting for you in Returns. Today shows what needs attention now, People holds what you remember about someone, and Returns gathers every visit you've planned. Before You Knock and the other preparation views now draw first from what you've confirmed, with your original note always one tap away.
