More control over your sound, library and listening. • Save complete sound setups, undo or redo effect edits, compare with the original sound, and adjust advanced EQ filters, reverb and delay. Optional vinyl, tape and radio styles add another way to shape playback. • Measure loudness for selected local songs or albums, inspect the actual audio path, and skip song intros or endings without editing the files. • Find collaborative songs under each clearly credited artist and sort an artist’s albums by release year. • Discover nearby SMB/WebDAV servers and translate lyrics on-device on supported systems. • Use Shortcuts to play a local song, album, artist or playlist. • Improved SMB playlist path handling, Ogg Mood/Grouping tags, ReplayGain peak protection and playback recovery. • Corrected owned-feature highlighting and improved the default EQ headroom setting. Existing purchases are unchanged. Experimental audio tools remain experimental. ON IPHONE, IPAD AND APPLE WATCH • Swipe down on an empty area of the full-screen player to close it. • Send a whole playlist to Apple Watch with its name, order and repeated songs, plus progress, retry and cancel controls. Watch playback adds seeking, speed, sleep options and lyrics for supported single-song transfers. Update both apps. • Rain and Spectrum visualizations are now available on iPhone and iPad.

More ways to shape your sound and explore your music. • Save named equalizer presets, including preamp gain. Return to your latest Custom curve after trying another preset, and manage, rename or delete saved presets. • Improved embedded artwork for Opus files and artwork in WebDAV libraries. EXPERIMENTAL SUPPORTER BONUSES Supporter now includes eight bonus audio tools: vocal/accompaniment separation, ringtone file creation, chord/key/beat analysis, practice recording and mixing, audio cleanup, CUE or manual track splitting, lyric transcription and alignment, and melody-to-MIDI export. These tools are experimental and still being improved. Results and reliability are not guaranteed. Listen to and review generated audio, notes and lyrics before using them. Processing is local by default. Optional remote lyric transcription sends the selected clip only after your confirmation to a compatible service you configure; provider charges may apply. Existing Pro features and purchases are unchanged.

A more connected listening experience on iPhone and iPad. • Optimized for iPhone Duo, with player, queue and sound layouts that adapt to the space available on its inner and outer displays. • The player fills your app window and adapts to the available space. • Open your queue or Sound & Timer inside the player, with side-by-side controls in wide layouts. • Browse related albums and artists, then return to where you left off. • Keep lyrics drafts, AI inputs and generated results when visiting search, timing or settings pages. • Clearer navigation in settings, Google Drive and MEGA. • Fixed missing lyrics in FLAC files with embedded LYRICS tags.

• Play selected songs from Google Drive with a saved song list and on-device caching. • Connect MEGA to browse music folders, stream supported audio and prepare the next song in the background. Google Drive and MEGA are included in Trove Pro. • New Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese and French interfaces, including Apple Watch, widgets and Wi-Fi Transfer. • Clearer buffering feedback while network audio is loading. Some formats require a complete download before playback.

• Jump from a song to its album or artist, and move between album and artist pages. • Sort Favorites by title, artist, album, date added or date favorited. • View a song's filename and copy its source path from Song Info. • Find search more easily in Songs, Albums and Folders. Search local folders and their subfolders for songs and folders. • Add WebDAV folders to your library for browsing, search and online playback. • Choose Original, A4 432 Hz or C5 528 Hz reference pitch presets while keeping playback speed independent. • Improved recovery after audio interruptions and when resuming interrupted network scans. • Improved SMB timeout and connection cleanup stability.

Play playlists in forward or reverse order while keeping your saved song order. Return to your previous Browse section and local folder when reopening Trove. Customize your iPhone library tabs with Trove Pro. Improved playback stability when pausing, resuming and crossfading.

Improved remote smart playlist indexing when some folders cannot be accessed. Fixed an issue where playback recovery could unexpectedly lower the volume. Improved playback diagnostics and reliability.

Version 1.6 improves playlist importing, network playback, and troubleshooting. • Fixes importing .m3u playlists from the file picker. • Improves SMB browsing and prepares playback work away from the main UI. • Adds a quick AirPlay route shortcut. • Adds optional diagnostic records that stay on your device unless you choose to export or send them.

This update improves playback, network browsing, and feedback. • Shuffle keeps playing by reshuffling when the current round ends. • Improves SMB browsing and indexing, including timeout recovery and remote smart playlist metadata. • Improves playback recovery when skipping, pausing, or stopping during track loading. • Makes Wi-Fi transfer progress and import results clearer. • Send feedback directly from Trove with optional diagnostics, without a Mail account. You can also save a complete feedback package.

Your own music is easier to organize, whether it lives on your iPhone or an SMB share. • Open an M3U playlist from an SMB folder, save a network folder as a playlist, or index a chosen SMB folder for smart playlists (Trove Pro). Remote music stays on your server; Trove downloads tracks as needed for playback. • See Grouping and Mood tags, edit them, and write supported MP3 and FLAC changes back to files with Trove Pro. Trove also reads a rating stored in the audio file separately from your rating in the app. • Find your listening history in More. A play is recorded after ten seconds of listening, or when a shorter track finishes. • Check how much music is stored on this device in More → Storage. Files on external drives and network servers are excluded. • Edit an existing SMB connection without removing and recreating it. Also improves M3U import feedback and Apple Watch transfer and playback recovery.

Tag edits now reach your files, playing from a NAS is smoother, and big libraries stop stuttering. WRITE TAGS BACK TO FILES (Trove Pro) • Edits to titles, artists, albums and more can be written into the FLAC, MP3 and M4A files themselves — one song at a time or many at once. • Only the fields you changed are written. Everything else in the file, from comments to embedded lyrics, stays exactly as it was. • Choose to write back when you fix song info from MusicBrainz, or when you pick an album's artwork. Each is off until you turn it on. • If a file can't be written, Trove tells you which one and why, and carries on with the rest. RE-READ TAGS Changed tags in another app, or imported files before Trove could read them? Pick the songs and choose Re-read Tags. Tags found in the file replace the library's; empty ones don't wipe what you typed. NAS AND SERVERS • Tap a song in a WebDAV or SMB folder and the rest of the folder plays on — with skip, shuffle, and gapless once each file has downloaded. • Songs played from a server show their embedded artwork, title and artist on the lock screen, in the car, and in widgets. • Downloads keep the server's folder structure and pick up cover.jpg along the way. PLAY QUEUE Add an album, artist, genre, composer or playlist to the queue, or play it next — from the ••• menu or by long-pressing artwork. A short confirmation shows it worked. LARGE LIBRARIES • Importing is several times faster, and the app stays usable while it scans. • Switching songs, opening albums and artists, and finishing an import no longer freeze on libraries with thousands of songs. • When a folder or network share comes back under a new path, Trove follows it instead of importing everything again — and merges duplicates left by earlier versions. FIXES • Crossfade no longer plays the start of the next song twice, and the progress bar behaves during Repeat One. • Songs whose tags couldn't be read on first launch are repaired later, and names like "Coração" are no longer mangled. • Track numbers fit at larger text sizes. • Feedback shows the email address and copies it with one tap.

A big update: CarPlay, a real play queue, and help for libraries with messy tags. CARPLAY Browse your playlists, albums, artists and songs from the car. Large libraries are split into alphabetical pages instead of being cut off. PLAY QUEUE See what's playing next, drag to reorder, swipe to remove, or tap to jump ahead. "Add to Queue" puts songs at the end without interrupting what's playing. LYRICS AND ARTWORK • Song without lyrics? Search online and tap a result to use it. • Albums pick up cover.jpg and folder.jpg images stored next to the music. • Choose an album's artwork from the Files app, or search for it online. • Still nothing? Generate a stand-in cover with Image Playground, or with an image service you set up. • Messy tags from downloaded files — site names, track numbers, "Official Video" — no longer get in the way of a match. • Automatic lookup for lyrics and artwork is there when you want it, and off until you turn it on. FIX SONG INFO Compare titles, artists and albums with MusicBrainz, see exactly what would change, and apply only what you check. Your files are never rewritten. TAGS AND LIBRARY • Edit artist, album, composer, genre and year for many songs at once, or delete them together. • Composers: edit them, browse by composer, and use them in search and smart playlists. • Import and export playlists as M3U. • Move playlists, favorites and ratings between devices with a sync file — keep it in iCloud Drive, send it with AirDrop, or put it anywhere. Merging never deletes a playlist. PLAYBACK • Shuffle plays every song once before reshuffling, and keeps its place when you reopen the app, tap a song or switch modes. • Smoother track changes over Bluetooth and in the car. • Long tracks like audiobooks and DJ sets remember where you left off — or turn that on for every track. • Volume leveling from ReplayGain tags, per track or per album, when you turn it on. FIXES • FLAC files on iPhone and iPad now show their titles, artists, albums and artwork. • Importing a large library is many times faster. • Names with accents, like Björk, are no longer garbled on import. • Cloud AI set up with DeepSeek works again.

iPad now uses a sidebar instead of the phone's tab bar — your library, playlists, network sources and settings are all one tap away. The layout follows the window: it moves between the sidebar and the tab bar as the available width changes, and keeps your place when it does.
