An escape room played entirely through a terminal. You are locked in an isolation chamber with one console and a 60 minute purge timer. The way out runs through fifty years of computing: a 1977 PDP-11 running Unix v6, an Apple II dialing a bulletin board at 300 baud in 1983, Usenet the week the Morris worm hit in 1988, the early web in 1995, a Windows 2000 server still in service in 2008, and a 2015 Linux box. Every era is a hacking puzzle built from the tools of its day, and what you take from one machine is what gets you into the next. Every command you type belongs to that machine and that time. If you have ever used ed in anger, you will feel at home. If you have not, the machines will teach you. Seven layers. Four endings. Roughly an hour, and the timer is real. **WHAT THIS IS NOT** No accounts. No signup. No ads. No in-app purchases. Nothing is collected about you, and the game does not need a network connection once installed. Put your phone in airplane mode and it plays exactly the same. **BUILT FOR THE PHONE** A dedicated key bar puts arrows, Tab, and copy and paste within reach, so a real terminal is usable with your thumbs. Machine responses have haptic feedback. If you get interrupted, the game picks up where you left off. 60 minutes. One console. Get out.
