Threadleaf is a private, local-first home for project notes. Arrange work in colorful visual notebooks, capture ideas quickly in the Inbox, and find what you need with local search.
Keep six kinds of project information together:

Customize note colors and page styles, notebook appearance, and the app’s light, dark, or system appearance. Optional App Lock uses your device authentication as an access barrier; it does not encrypt the database.
Your primary content stays in Threadleaf’s private local app storage. There is no account and no automatic sync. Create a portable .threadleaf backup only when you choose, then use the system interface to save or share the unencrypted file. Version 1 backups do not include custom notebook-cover photos. Restoring replaces the current Threadleaf data on that device, so create a current backup first.
