Three new languages: Chinese (Mandarin), Korean and Hindi, each from A1 to B2, with recorded voices. Alphabet lessons for Greek, Russian, Arabic, Hebrew, Persian and Japanese: a lesson now shows as completed the moment you finish it, each letter is read aloud (tap it to hear it again), and a new button takes you straight to the next lesson. New to one of these scripts? The home screen now invites you to start with the alphabet. Chapter 1 stays open if you can already read it. Recorded voices now play from the very first sentence of a story, instead of your phone's voice.

Levels B1 and B2 in Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese and Turkish, with every sentence read aloud by a recorded voice. Japanese now continues into A2. Swedish and Finnish A2 are now explained in German, French, Spanish and Italian. Learning Greek, Russian, Arabic, Hebrew, Persian or Japanese? The pronunciation in Latin letters now stays on the exercise tiles throughout A1, and a new switch in your profile hides it once you can read the alphabet. Fixes: translations and chapter titles appear in your own language from the very first lesson, and your subscription stays attached to your account even if the app had to reconnect.

French and English are now recorded at every level, up to B2. Each level now starts gently: the first chapters ask for shorter tasks, and listening exercises grow as you move through the thirty chapters. When you choose your level, only the levels available for your language are offered. Switching languages no longer risks showing an empty screen. The subscription screen is now fully translated.

Two new exercises sit between the sentences: match the words to their translations, and choose what a word means. Your first sentence to build arrives in the first minute, before the questions about your goals. A run of correct answers is now shown and heard, the chime rising a step with each one. Leave an exercise halfway through and it resumes where you left it. Thousands of vocabulary translations have been corrected, in every language.
