CAPO now builds for the whole song — the drive for the heavy part arrives parked on a footswitch, ready to stomp. Captures are levelled automatically, so swapping an amp no longer jumps 20 dB and the finished rig arrives at a usable volume. Captures recorded at another sample rate now play at the right pitch. New reverb with pre-delay and width.

CAPO now listens to the rig it builds and fixes what it hears, so you stop getting silent or fizzy tones from a DI capture with no cab. Better gear matching (it knows a Recto is a Rectifier), a richer reverb with pre-delay and width, more character in the chorus, phaser, compressor and delay, and captures made at another sample rate now play at the right pitch. Tap "Not it" and CAPO steers away. Fixes a MIDI crash.

NEW Drop tuning. Retune your guitar virtually in whole semitones — down seven or up two — so you can play along in Drop C without touching a machine head. Tunings you can pick. A proper list rather than a text box, organised by instrument: 6, 7 and 8 string, and bass. Wah. A real wah, with envelope mode on by default so it responds to your picking. Bypassed effects stay on your board. Switch something off and it stays in the chain, greyed out, ready to kick back in — instead of vanishing into the Add menu. Remove it properly from the effect's own screen when you actually want it gone. Saved rigs remember more. A rig now saves the effects you have switched off, along with their settings, so recalling it gives you back the board you built.
