Stats overlays get their own picker, with new designs - and new overlays now arrive on their own, without waiting for an app update. The posting screen is rebuilt: 9:16 media, a cleaner cover picker, and a caption field that stays out of your way until you write one. Near you works now - walks from people in your own city. Tapping a comment opens the thread with the keyboard already up, and holding the hype button shows everyone who hyped. Plus a fix for a crash when posting to the feed, sharper video, corrected step history limits, and a long list of smaller repairs.

Amble now runs on Apple Watch. Record a walk, run, ride, hike or treadmill session directly from your wrist, with live heart rate, distance, pace and calories on screen throughout. Start on either device and both stay in step — pause, resume and finish from whichever one is closer. Routes are recorded on the watch and saved to Apple Health with the map attached, and your splits are one swipe from the main screen. WATCH WIDGETS AND COMPLICATIONS Your step count, streak and daily goal on the watch face, plus a Smart Stack widget that starts a workout in a single tap. LEADERBOARDS The global board is now a board of everyone, with day, week and month views. Boards load considerably faster and show when each member was last active. MORE ACCURATE RECORDING • Auto-pause and auto-resume now work as intended. • Time spent in a vehicle no longer counts toward a walk. • GPS drift no longer adds distance while you are standing still. • Treadmill sessions no longer request location they do not use. • Workout step counts are reconciled with Apple Health when saved. APPLE HEALTH Resolved a case where your step count could read zero alongside real distance, and the "Connect Apple Health" prompt no longer appears on a day you simply have not walked yet. CHAT Typing stays responsive in long conversations, threads open at the newest message, and the mention picker follows your cursor.
