Just Chess Tactics gives you three focused ways to train: build your rating in Tactics, test your limits in Survival, or target specific weaknesses in Practice. No account, subscription, ads, or internet connection required.
GAME MODES
TACTICS
Solve puzzles matched to your current strength. Your personal rating changes with every result, while your best rating, daily progress, streak, and solved-puzzle count help you track your improvement.
SURVIVAL
Start at 100 Elo and face increasingly difficult puzzles. You have three hearts — every wrong solution costs one life. Play without a clock or choose a 1, 3, 5, or 15-minute challenge, then try to beat your best result.
PRACTICE
Train exactly what you want. Choose from more than 40 tactical themes — including mates, forks, pins, sacrifices, endgames, and promotions — and set a custom puzzle rating range from 500 to 2900. Clean first-try solutions are tracked for every theme.
