Cast to TV is a web browser that sends videos you find online straight to your TV — no cables, no mirroring. Open any site, play a video, and cast it to a Google Cast device on the same Wi-Fi. The video plays on your TV directly from the source, so your phone stays free and its battery lasts. WORKS WITH • Google Cast — Chromecast, Chromecast built-in, and Android TV Note: this app casts to Google Cast devices only. SUPPORTED VIDEO • HLS live streams (M3U8) • MP4, WebM, and MOV files • HTML5 video • Audio files (MP3, M4A) • Videos saved on your phone • Subtitles found on the page, or your own (WebVTT) HOW IT WORKS Cast to TV is a browser. It finds the real video URL inside the web page and hands it to your Google Cast device, which streams it directly from the source. Find a video on the web. 2. Make sure it plays in the browser. 3. Tap the cast icon and choose your TV. 4. Press play.
