Three new home-screen widgets Tavi now lives on your home screen, and the plan one is the point: your pet's day, with a circle beside every step you can tap to tick off. No unlocking, no opening the app. Done steps stay visible — what you have already got through is the reason to look. Plan & shortcuts puts the same list next to one-tap ways into Expenses, Journal and Training. Journal keeps the last few pages where you can see them, with an invitation to write today's. A day can hold more than one page, so there is always somewhere to add the evening walk. More than one pet? Tap their name on any widget to move to the next one. Or long-press, choose Edit Widget, and pin a tile to one animal — two pets, two tiles, side by side. Everything a widget shows stays in step with the app. Write a page, tick a step, switch pets, and the widgets follow without you opening anything. Smaller things Tapping a widget now takes you to the exact screen it was showing, not just the app. The day card on Home moved its step arrows up beside the step's name, where they say what they do, and the plan footer now sits flush at the bottom of the card.

A new way in Setting up a pet feels different now. Tavi opens by showing what it does, asks what you want from it, and then hands you the thing itself: type what happened the way you'd text a friend — "Gave Sam his flea treatment" — and watch it filed as a real record, with the date and the kind already right. There is nothing to learn first. Logging moved to the + The grid of tinted tiles on Home is gone. There is a single + in the middle of the navigation bar now, on every screen, opening the same sheet wherever you are. Home leads with the day instead. Premium on one card Settings shows what Premium includes in a single place, with the ways to start it side by side rather than hidden behind a sheet. Things that were losing what you told us Opening a repeat reminder that was already running and tapping Save used to stop the schedule — no warning, no undo. It doesn't any more. Editing a weigh-in after switching between kg and lb no longer re-files it in the wrong unit. Deleting a batch of logs can be undone. And a paper that has expired now says so on every screen, instead of counting as filed in one place and missing in another. Smaller things A pet who has died is no longer told something is overdue. Charts no longer carry one pet's date range onto the next, and the expense search box no longer follows you from pet to pet. The keyboard stays down where nothing asks you to type. Plus a long round of fixes across reminders, the journal and the pet file.

The plan, rebuilt Your pet's day reads as a day now. Steps are grouped into morning, afternoon and evening, each with its time, and tapping one opens it. The switches, pencils and drag handles are gone — a single chevron does the work. Home is quieter too. The day leads, the file follows, and training sits above the journal instead of below it. Expenses, for the whole household Open it and every pet is there at once, not one at a time. Export the lot as a spreadsheet when an insurer asks, or point the camera at a vet invoice and let Tavi read the total, the date and the clinic off it. Large totals now group their thousands, so a four-figure year is legible at a glance. Papers that warn you before they lapse A vaccination certificate, passport or insurance document with an expiry date now reminds you the day before it runs out — so a renewal is never a surprise at the kennel desk. Smaller things The weight you accept during setup is the weight that gets saved. Where signing in is required, there is now a button that takes you there rather than leaving you to find it. The home card can send you straight into the training path. And a round of fixes across reminders, the journal and the pet file.

A plan for the day, and a journal for it Every pet gets a daily plan — meals, walks, water, the lot — built from their species, size and age, and yours to change. The whole day runs on one card: what is next, what is done, and anything you set aside. Plus a journal. One line, one mood, one photo. Pages worth reading back next year, and never a streak to keep up. Breed know-how, free for every pet Guides on feeding, vaccines and health, written from published research with every study cited. Your pet's breed decides which ones apply, so a Beagle and a Persian do not get the same page. The feeding guide is now free and on the home screen. Set a target weight and the daily calories follow it. Plus fixes across records, reminders and the pet file.

Setting up a new pet is smoother, clearer and faster. • A new welcome animation and a redesigned first screen • Before we ask anything, Tavi now shows what it will actually do for your pet — each promise with the veterinary research behind it • New: tell us what your dog already does, and the training path starts there instead of at the beginning • The plan screen no longer asks you the same question twice • Clearer artwork and steadier buttons throughout onboarding Thanks for using Tavi.

Setting up now starts with you. Tell Tavi what's hardest right now — forgotten doses, records in three places, training that never sticks — and it shows you what it does about each one, with the evidence behind it. The welcome walkthrough is back, and the first run is smoother throughout.

Premium costs less. The annual plan and the one-time Lifetime plan have both dropped in price — the same app, the same features, less money. The upgrade screen now shows what each plan actually saves you against paying monthly.

A training session is now a record you can open. Tap any past session to see which reps landed and which didn't, when you started and finished, and the clips you filmed — and share a certificate for it. Your six-second clips are safer. They're kept with your account rather than on one phone only, so a new phone doesn't lose them, and they play right inside the app. Practicing a skill again now asks what you want to keep: add to the sessions you already have, or start the skill fresh. YOUR PET'S PAPERS, REORGANIZED Files has three views — Shelf for the six things a vet, kennel or insurer actually asks for; All for everything you have ever filed; Timeline for the order it happened in. You can rename a document, and filing a newer certificate keeps the previous one in All as history. Scan a vaccine card and the doses go onto the health record, so Vet mode shows them instead of saying nothing is on file. A medication you're giving can be marked as one they're currently taking, so it appears where a vet would look for it. Switch pets without going back to Home — the pet selector is now on Files, Training, Ask and Trends as well. FIXED • Filming a training clip no longer closes the app • Photos no longer vanish after a long stretch signed in • Scanning a card during setup could get stuck — it can't now • Uploading a document from Files works again • An invoice counts as filed even when no total can be read off it • The Microchip tile takes you straight to the microchip field

Training that fits your dog. The plan is shaped by breed, age and how much training you have done before. Sessions are short, every step is illustrated, and each skill explains the reasoning behind it. The foundation skills are free. Also in this release: a faster first run, and Reduce Motion is now honoured throughout.
