Settings has two new rows. One rates the app. The other writes to me, with the version and the phone already filled in so you do not have to answer any of that later. Two colours were too pale to read outdoors, which on a job site is the same as not being there. The green on "Meets IRC 2021 R311.7.5" and on "Saved to Log" is darker now. The ft, in and fraction keys have dark text on the amber instead of white, and those three keys are the reason this is not the calculator that came with the phone. There is also a switch for anonymous counts, on by default: how often the app opens, how many calculations get run. What you measured never leaves the phone. Underneath all that, the arithmetic picked up thirteen tests for the inputs nobody means to type. A zero rise. A negative one. A riser count of a hundred. The guards were always there; now something goes red if anyone takes one out.
