Outlining, inside a note. • Nest and reorder a list. Tab and ⇧Tab change the level; ⌥↑ and ⌥↓ move an item with everything under it. • Fold away what you are not thinking about with ⌘. — a list item, or a heading and the section under it. You can also click the ring on a bullet, or the … at the end of the line. • Press ⇧⌘. to see a whole note as an outline: just the headings and the outermost items of any list. • ⌘A now widens one step at a time — the item, its children, the section, the whole note. Select a branch, then Extract to move it into a note of its own. ⇧⌘A takes everything in one press. • Folding is only how a note looks. Your .md file is the same folded or not, and folds are forgotten when you quit. • Right-click the menu bar icon and choose Shortcuts to see every key. Hovering a toolbar button shows its shortcut too. • A new sample note walks through all of this. Fixes • Pasting from a browser or a chat app no longer brings in blank lines. • Extracting part of a list no longer leaves stray line breaks in your .md. • A window larger than the screen is now trimmed to fit, so its footer stays reachable. • A long note now shows a scroll bar when it does not fit the window.
