Measurement Notebook
Measure, save & remember
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Measure everyday objects, save photos and notes, and keep clear visual diagrams of the dimensions you want to remember. Camera measuring is available on supported devices
Measurement Notebook is a simple visual notebook for the everyday things you measure.
Fully free to use — no subscriptions or hidden costs.*
Save measurements together with photos, clear diagrams and useful notes, so you can understand exactly what each number meant when you need it again.
Perfect for things like:
• Furniture
• TVs and appliances
• Boxes and storage
• Pictures and frames
• Doorways
• Curtains and blinds
• Rooms
• Plants and pots
• People
• Round objects and cylinders
• Quick one-off measurements
Clear visual measurements
Instead of saving a number such as “92 cm” and forgetting what it referred to, Measurement Notebook shows dimensions visually.
Width, height, depth, diameter and other measurements are displayed alongside simple diagrams so it is easy to see which side each value belongs to.
Measure your way
Enter measurements manually from a ruler or tape measure.
On supported Apple devices you can also use the camera-assisted measurement tool for quick estimates.
Camera measurements are estimates and may not be exact. Double-check important measurements with a physical measuring tool.
Add photos and notes
Add a main photo and additional pictures so you can immediately recognise what you measured.
You can also save useful notes such as model numbers, locations, shopping information or anything else worth remembering.
Keep things organised
Group related measurements into simple Lists such as:
• Home
• New Kitchen
• Garden
• Shopping List
• House Move
You can also mark important items as Favourites.
Works across your devices
Measurement Notebook can use iCloud to keep your notebook in sync across compatible Apple devices.
The app is local-first, works offline and does not require a Measurement Notebook account.
Whether you're checking if furniture will fit, remembering the size of a doorway, measuring a plant pot or recording the dimensions of a TV, Measurement Notebook gives you one place to keep the measurements you don't want to lose.
