Recenter: Calming is something to hold when life starts to tilt.
FOUR MODES
- Recenter: No score. No way to lose. Soft spheres drift in and chime like bells. Left alone, the droplet/slime/gummy/etc finds its own way to the center. Use it to focus, unwind, or find a little stillness on its own, or as part of a mindfulness or meditation practice.
- Game Mode: Add a bit of excitement by staying centered to earn points. Tap the spheres before they disappear off the other side of the screen. Tap them when inside the droplet/slime/gummy/etc for a small points boost. The pace picks up as your score rises.
- Meditation Mode. A hands-off mode with a session timer, an opening and closing chime, and the object in the center gently grows and shrinks to guide box breathing (4 in, 4 hold, 4 out, 4 hold).
- Sleep Mode: Recenter's organically generated ambient soundscape that's never the same twice. A built-in timer controls the slow fade to silence. Set it down, close your eyes, and drift off.
THE SIX CHARACTERS
Water, Slime, Mercury, Grape Jelly, Gummy, and Ghost. Each one moves, refracts, and reacts differently.
ORGANIC SOUNDSCAPE
An original, textured, organically generated ambient soundscape. Warm pads follow the position of the character, accompanied by a gentle binaural undertone (best experienced with headphones), and softly muted bells that happen when the spheres interact with the character. Nothing jarring or looping in an obvious, patterned way. Unlock Sleep Mode, set it down, close your eyes, and drift off.
- Meditation Mode. A hands-off mode with a session timer, an opening and closing chime, and the object in the center gently grows and shrinks to guide box breathing (4 in, 4 hold, 4 out, 4 hold).
- Sleep Mode is calmer, and the object drifts on its own.
- Audio: the soundscape now follows the object's position, its pitch rising as the object moves up the screen and lowering as it moves down the screen, and its balance shifting left and right with it (best with headphones).
