New - Two new outfit packs in the Wardrobe. The Baseball Pack has a batting helmet, jersey, cleats, a bat, a glove, a ballpark and three new moves: Hit a Home Run, Catch a Fly Ball and Tip the Helmet. The Soccer Pack has a jersey, boots, a ball, a water bottle, a pitch and three new moves: Keepy-Uppy, Header and Take a Drink. - Each pack costs 200 coins less than its pieces one at a time, and your jersey number now shows on the Baseball and Soccer Jerseys too. - The first time you open a game you can choose to just play, learn it on three easy boards, or read the rules. Improvements - Picking today's difficulty is one tap on the level you want, and each level shows about how long today's games take. - One win at Hard in Practice now opens Hard for your daily set. - Trailhead leaves the daily set on October 27. It stays in Practice. - Sudoku, Mini Sudoku, Tally, Tally Hive and Abacus have a new Keypad setting: Show keeps the number keys under the board, Hide always uses the box beside the square, and Auto works as before. - Quiver and Quiver Hive get more practice boards as you near the end of a difficulty. Fixes - The moving game boards on Home and Practice no longer turn into still pictures after you play a game. - Characters' outlines no longer flicker, and the Wardrobe's grids scroll smoothly. - On an iPad with the side menu open, Practice, Stats, Trophies and a category's page no longer squeeze their text.

On a pale backdrop the writing turns dark so it stays easy to read. - The Wardrobe's sections are now six groups, with only the chosen group's parts under them. - In Quiver, Quiver Hive, Beacon, Landmark, Tumbler and Word Search, a hint is now a light on the board, with no card to read or close. Lattice and Mirror do the same when the light says enough. - Quiver and Quiver Hive have bigger boards, especially on an iPad. - Forage lists your words A to Z within each length, and its word slots grow with larger text. - The celebration after a win plays larger. Fixes - Opening the Guide in Quiver or Quiver Hive on an upright iPad no longer turns the board on its side.

New - New players start with 200 coins, and everyone already playing now has at least 300. Each of your first ten friends earns you both 100 coins, and someone new who joins with your friend code earns you 100 more. - Trophies pay coins by colour: 5 for bronze, 15 for silver and 50 for gold. Trophies you already hold have been topped up. - Outfit packs in the Wardrobe, starting with the Golf Pack: seven pieces for 500 coins, or each one on its own. - Pets stand on two feet and can hold a book, a mug, a trophy or a toy. - Your character now stands at the top of the menu screens, cheers when you win, and appears in the pictures you share. - In Quiver and Quiver Hive, long-press an arrow to light the path it would take off the board. - New games stand out in Practice for their first month. Improvements - A game's stats now count every game you have ever played there, not just the last 90 days. - After the last game of your daily set, the main button opens Today's Leaderboard. - Quiver and Quiver Hive: a tap near an arrow's head goes to that arrow, boards are packed edge to edge, and Hard and Extra Hard are harder to think through. On an iPad their boards turn when you hold it sideways. - After an update, what's new comes one thing at a time. Fixes - Buying a fidget that comes with something now puts it in your character's hand, so the fidget plays right away. - At the largest text size on an iPad, page titles are no longer cut off.

New - Earn coins by playing well, and spend them on a character of your own in the new Wardrobe on your Profile. Start from Professor Tile's square, Dr. Hex's hexagon, Coach Dot's circle, or one of fourteen dogs and cats. - Dress it with hats, hair, glasses, expressions, backdrops, something on its back and its feet, and a sidekick beside it. Anything you buy comes in ten colours, free to change. - Your character shows on the leaderboards, beside your medals and on your friends' lists. Tap a player's row to see theirs up close. - Two new practice games: Quiver, where you tap the arrows that can escape the board, and Quiver Hive, the same game on hexagons. Both have a Guide. - Starting a custom event is now five quick questions. Each team gets a mascot in its own jersey, and your event comes with a poster with a QR code for each team. - Calm Look takes the sunburst off the tops of pages, and Victory Animations can be turned off. - Trophies and medals you have already won pay their coins once when this update arrives. Improvements - After a daily game, the results show all of today's puzzles, with the ones you have finished ticked. - Professor Tile, Dr. Hex and Coach Dot cheer when you win, and New High has many more hand-drawn celebrations. - Mosaic practice boards no longer hand you a tray that is mostly one shape. - Profile photos are checked before your friends can see them. Fixes - Friend requests, challenges, medal results and the weekly board now send notifications. Until now none of them were arriving. - Game sounds no longer stop working for the rest of a session after you switch away from the app just as a sound plays.

New - Organizers of a custom event can share its code as a poster with a QR code, or show the QR code on screen for another phone to scan. Scanning it opens the invite in Dayzle. - An organizer can change which games a running event plays. The change starts with the next day's boards. Improvements - If you already know a game, the Guide goes straight to solving, and each learning board keeps its idea on a card while you play it. - In Sudoku, when Auto-Cascade starts filling cells by itself after your move, the first cell of each run counts as five seconds toward your score and leaderboard time. Cascade Singles is unchanged. - In Abacus, the divide sign and the cage clues are bigger and easier to read. - Hint highlights are brighter in Crowns, Crowns Hive, Terminus, Terminus Hive and Mosaic Hive. - After a win, the celebration plays out before the results appear, and the medal moment is redrawn in the characters' hand-drawn style. - Leaderboards list everyone from first place under the podium. - Opening a friend's link shows their code and a Send Request button straight away. - On small phones, the games under Today's Set and the categories in Practice scroll cleanly instead of squeezing. Fixes - Your Brain Score and play history count all your games again. Some showed only the last two weeks. - Your place on today's daily-set leaderboard shows again, and the Events tab knows when you've played today's set. - Crowns hints no longer point at a cell you've crossed off.

New - Dayzle has a new look: violet in place of green, a true black dark mode, a new app icon, and bolder headings and buttons. - Coach Dot joins Professor Tile and Dr. Hex in the win celebrations, the medal ceremony and the app's tips. One of the three now turns up the moment your streak grows or a skill reaches a new high. - Seventeen new win celebrations, and every celebration's props are newly hand-drawn. - If you finish every practice board in a difficulty, Dayzle can tell you when new ones arrive. - You can challenge a friend to a practice board you've finished. - Practice has a search box, so you can type a game's name and jump straight to it. Improvements - Every game opens with its name, your hearts, the timer and the Hint button on a violet strip at the top, and a mistake tells you how many hearts you have left. - A game's page shows each difficulty as a picture of a real board, with your best time under it. - Stats opens on your Brain Score and has three tabs: Skills, Days and Rankings. - Leaderboards show the top three on a podium and the one step that would move you up. - Profile, Help, the Events tab, the Friends tab and custom events have a new look. - Every game that downloads practice boards has 100 more in every difficulty. - On Dayzle Unlimited, giving up a practice board no longer asks you to watch an ad. - Medals are redrawn as real metal, and Top 1% and Top 10% medals are struck in iron. Fixes - The time on the result screen matches the game's clock. - Sudoku's Auto-Cascade follows your notes exactly. - On small phones, the time and battery at the top are readable on every screen, and names and labels show in full. - Stats and the Brain Score keep updating for players who have finished well over a thousand games.

New - Professor Tile now gives the hints and the Guide in every game, pointing at what matters, and his cousin Dr. Hex teaches the hexagon games. They also celebrate your wins and your medals. - Every game now has the Guide. - The first time you open a game, you may be offered three quick boards to learn it before your own. - You can now subscribe to Dayzle Plus or Dayzle Unlimited, monthly or yearly, or pay once for either with a lifetime plan. A Plus Lifetime owner can upgrade to Unlimited Lifetime and pay only the difference. - Dayzle can tell you when you win a medal, or when a friend moves past you on this week's board. Each has its own switch. - Practice has a new Cards view that shows every game's board being played. - Custom events can share their standings as text or a picture, and invite everyone with one event code. - New practice boards now arrive without an app update. Improvements - Hints point at squares and rows by the colour they are lit, and phone hints are shorter, with the full reasoning under More Details. - Score History always ends on the same number as your Brain Score. - The daily-set leaderboard shows everyone at your difficulty on one board. - Head to Head now starts with which games each of you is better at. - Boards open and finish more smoothly, and the word games no longer pause the first time you open them each day. - The question about ad tracking has one Continue button and appears the first time you open Practice. Fixes - In Tally, Hint always points out a wrong number. - In Span, a bridge can no longer be laid across another. - Opening the app after a night in the background shows today's puzzles. - On the nights the clocks change, the day now turns over at midnight.

New - Every game with a Guide now has it: twenty more games join Span with a Guide button beside Hint that walks you through the rest of a board one step at a time, showing where to look, then the move and why. Your first guide in each game is free. - If a streak of a week or more breaks, the Daily tab can now give it back, once a month. - In Sudoku, Mini Sudoku, Abacus, Tally and Tally Hive, a square holding the right number now stays put, so a slip of the thumb can't wipe out an answer you had right. On a phone the number card sits just under the board, with bigger keys. - Game tutorials now show a hand that acts out each move. - Profile is shorter, with Account, Progress, Settings and Help on their own screens, and Send Feedback can now email you back. Improvements - Every game's rules now say what a mistake costs, and tutorials, hints and guide cards are clearer. - Finishing a Sudoku, Mini Sudoku or Tally board plays its own ending. - With VoiceOver on, the board squares in most games now say where they are and what they show. - On an iPad held sideways, the board stays full size during a guide, and the hearts, Hint and Undo buttons line up with the board. - Buttons that used to be silent now give a small tick, and no game plays two sounds for one move. Fixes - Practice leaderboards for Lattice, Beacon, Landmark and Witness open again on boards you have finished. - Push notifications for friend requests, challenges and invites now arrive. - Witness and Lattice no longer count the time you spend reading the final report as play time. - Dark mode and layout fixes in Loom, Tally, Amble, Span, Trailhead, Mosaic, Word Search, Forage, Lattice and Landmark.

New - Custom events: run a private challenge for your friends, family or workplace. Pick the games, difficulties and clubs, invite people by email or from your friends, and score clubs by average or total. Events email you before they start, each week and at the end. - Span has a new Guide button that walks you through the rest of a board one step at a time: where to look, then the move and why. Your first guide is free. - Witness now shows you why you were wrong: a wrong suspect opens the round's report on that card and walks through the clues one at a time. - A practice board that has gone badly can be abandoned after a short ad, so it doesn't count toward your Brain Score or averages. - A friend's page shows their medals and the events you share, and you can nudge a friend who hasn't played your challenge. - On short screens the number games hide the keypad for a bigger board, and a new Always Hide Keypad setting does it on any screen. Improvements - Tutorials, hints and How to Play in every game are shorter and plainer. - In Tumbler and Cipher, the Enter key turns green as soon as your word is complete. - On iPad, hints appear in the empty space beside the puzzle so the board stays put, and celebrations play more smoothly. - The link to a hint's full explanation now says More Details, and hint and tutorial cards always show at least three lines. - Weekly Champions shows each week's winner, your place and the full board, and the rank-up card waits until you close it. - The Events and Friends tabs show a dot when an event or a challenge is waiting for you. Fixes - Forage, Cipher and Filament no longer open onto an empty board, and a game stuck before its board appears offers a way back after ten seconds. - Leaving a finished game before its result screen no longer loses its weekly points or streak. - First-time walkthroughs no longer leave the screen blank on an iPad held sideways, or move the board under your finger. - Answering the tracking question no longer leaves its card on screen. - A closed friend or challenge card no longer shows again on your other devices.

New - Winning a medal now gets a proper celebration the next morning, and a new Your Medals gallery shows every medal you have won. Tap any medal to see its engraving or share it. - Events has a new Most Medals page, and players whose best finishes are Top 1% or Top 10% show them beside their name. - Tap your record against a friend to see it broken down by category and by game, and how your average time compares with theirs. Improvements - Playing just one of today's games now keeps your streak. Days you finish all five get a gold laurel on your streak and calendar. - After your first game of the day, the results say your streak is safe, and your weekly and monthly recap counts the days you showed up. - Leaderboards show how many attempts stand behind the solves, and the typical time you're compared against counts only finished solves. - Welcome, confirmation and password reset emails now come from Dayzle. Confirming your email is a button on a page, so email security tools can't use the link up first, and the app tells you where a reset email went. - Clearer rules and tutorials in Trailhead, Tally, Tally Hive, Beacon, Mosaic, Lattice and nine more games. - Hints respond faster, and the practice crown is easier to see. Fixes - Tutorials no longer say a mistake is free when it costs a heart. - Moving up the weekly board now shows the "You just moved up" moment. - Friend cards about one friend now name them.

New - Friends now has its own tab. Adding a friend by code is one tap, a friend's link fills the code in for you, and Invite a Friend sends your code through any app on your phone. - Your record against a friend sits at the top of their page, and you can show friends your week: your best Brain Score this week, how many days you played and how today went. It never shows hints or mistakes. - A new Challenges screen lists every challenge you have sent and been sent and who won. When a friend plays a board you sent, you hear how it went, and you can ask for a rematch on a new board. - Finish first, second or third on the day's set, Today's Sudoku or the weekly board and you win a medal. The Events tab has Daily Champions and Weekly Champions, and leaderboards show medals beside each name. - Once you finish a game, where you placed today is one tap from the Daily tab, with how that has moved since you last looked. - When you choose today's difficulty, you can prove you're ready for the next locked level by winning that game's board at it. One try a day. - Today's Sudoku has its own difficulty levels, earned by playing Sudoku. - Tap anyone's row on the weekly board to see how they earned their points. Improvements - Profile has moved off the bottom bar: tap your avatar in the top right corner of any tab. Its Identity row is now called Display Name. - On iPad, the Sudoku board is much bigger, and every other game gets a little more room while you play. - Hints now say what they mean in short, plain sentences. - The Events tab is in two halves, Current and History. - When you finish a board a friend has also played, their result is on your results page. - Leaderboards open with no signal, showing what your phone last saw, and moving up the weekly board shows you climbing past the people around you. - Notifications has two new switches, Friend Requests and Challenges. - Extra Hard in Today's Sudoku asks for a wider range of techniques, and Crowns Hive's Extra Hard boards no longer make you test a crown several moves ahead. - Sharing a month from Stats sends the whole calendar in a taller image made for phone stories. Fixes - Challenges and friend requests sent to an iPhone now arrive, and tapping a challenge notification opens the board. - Turning off Allow Notifications now stops friend and challenge notifications too. - A trophy earned with no connection is announced right away, and a Mini Sudoku board played across midnight stays your board. - Witness's clues about size and a few animals are corrected. - Buttons at the bottom of pop-up sheets no longer hide behind the tab bar, and Profile and the weekly leaderboard have a back arrow on phones.

Playing offline - Finish a puzzle with no signal and your results and your streak now arrive straight away, instead of leaving you on the finished board until the connection comes back. Every practice game did the same, and no longer does. - Home and both leaderboards say plainly when you are offline, and the leaderboards add the part that matters: your result is saved, and it will still be counted. - Days you play offline count toward your stats and streaks, catching up the next time you are online. - Hints you spend offline count down as you spend them. Running out of lives offline gives them straight back, instead of offering a video that cannot arrive. - Opening Dayzle for the very first time with no connection now explains that the first launch needs one, and offers a Try Again. Fixes - Your streak and your practice streak could go up and then quietly go back down hours later. They no longer do. - Mosaic pieces land on the square they look like they are on, and a piece lifted from the tray grows to size smoothly instead of jumping. - In Parcel, Crowns and Span, a drag now starts on the square you actually pressed. - Forage accepts about 4,400 ordinary words it used to refuse, no longer counts abbreviations like lbs and est, and nine racks that could not be finished are fixed.
