Share a Reel, a Short or a TikTok and it comes back with a synopsis, already on the right shelf. Bilibili videos and RedNote posts too, cover art intact. Hookova is where the videos you actually meant to come back to end up. SAVE FROM ANYWHERE Watching a Reel, a Short or a TikTok? Hit Share and pick Hookova — the save fires the moment the sheet opens, and closing the sheet drops you straight back where you were. No app to switch to, no link to paste, nothing to file. RedNote posts, Bilibili videos, X posts and ordinary web pages go in the same way. SORTED WHILE YOU SCROLL Every save comes back with a written synopsis and lands on the right shelf on its own — Recipes, Places, Films, Books, Products, Workouts, Software, TV Shows, Events, Articles. Filing is the part you don't do. When the model isn't sure, the save simply arrives unshelved for you to place, and if you'd rather file it yourself, your choice wins over the automatic one. A LIBRARY, NOT A LIST OF LINKS Search across everything you've saved at once — titles, synopses, the post's own caption, your notes, your tags, the URL. Add a note while it's still fresh; it saves as you type. Give a shelf a different emoji, or hold the category row and drag it into the order you actually use. Recently saved sits on top, the shelves under it, busiest first, and a shelf tells you how much has landed on it since you last looked. THEN TAKE IT APART Turn on Shot-by-shot analysis in Profile and a saved TikTok, YouTube Short or Instagram Reel comes back dissected: every cut timestamped, with the framing, the camera move and the hook technique behind it — a shot list you could shoot from. Clips run from three seconds to three minutes. It's the same engine hookova.com runs, reachable from your phone. ONE LIBRARY, EVERYWHERE What you save on your phone is on hookova.com the moment it lands, and the other way round. Save from the browser extension, from the Mac menu bar, or from your editor over MCP — it is all one library, on one account. EXPORT WHAT'S YOURS Every finished save leaves as a Markdown note with its frontmatter intact, straight into Obsidian or anywhere else that reads Markdown. Nothing you put in is locked in. WHAT IT DOESN'T DO Saving never downloads the video, and the app doesn't watch what you watch. It takes the one link you handed it and reads the page behind it. There is no tracking and no ad network. A free Hookova account is all you need to start. Every plan gets the synopsis, the shelves and the breakdowns — what changes is how much you can file in a day and how many breakdowns you can run. Hookova Basic and Hookova Pro are auto-renewable subscriptions. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. A subscription renews automatically unless it is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of that period. Manage or cancel in your Apple Account settings after purchase. Privacy Policy: https://www.hookova.com/legal/privacy Terms of Use: https://www.hookova.com/legal/terms
