What's new in 1.1: • Reorganized scale menu — Scales, Modes, and Arpeggios in clear groups, with the full catalog shown and harder scales grayed out until you reach that level. • New "All Strings" play direction: run the scale as a round trip across all six strings. • Beginner mode now sticks to the natural keys for an easier start.

NEW: Technique tab! Pick a technique - alternate picking, economy picking, finger independence, or legato - and get a curated video lesson plus a hands-on drill that lights up the neck in time, at your own tempo with a count-in. Down/up picking and hammer-on/pull-off markers show you exactly what your hands should do. Also: clearer quiz colors, a tidier active-lesson badge, and more reliable practice-share links.

What's new in 1.3 — a big update: • A real acoustic guitar. Practice playback now uses genuine recorded acoustic samples, so scales and arpeggios ring like a real guitar instead of a synth. • Redesigned Practice screen. Cleaner, quicker controls you can collapse out of the way, pick any mix of keys and scales at once, a combined Neck view (Notes → Intervals → Off), and a zoom to see the fretboard up close. • Lessons (new). Build a practice plan from any mix of quizzes and practice runs, work through it as a checklist, and share a whole lesson as a single link. Building and sharing are free — great for teachers assigning homework, or for building your own routine. • More ways to practice. New quizzes — read notes on the staff (treble and bass clef) and find them on the neck, build scales and modes by tapping the shape, invert intervals, and name a mode's parent key — plus a Progress screen and a Daily Workout. • Drills up front. The app now opens on Drills, quizzes are grouped (Fretboard · Ear · Theory · Reading) so you're never scrolling a long menu, and it reopens on whichever tab you used last. • Little things that help. Left-handed fretboard, haptic feedback on iPhone, and you can now rate Fretsy right from the app. • Fretsy Pro now unlocks Intermediate & Advanced reliably right after you buy or restore, plus stability improvements throughout.
