Sports Officiating
Rules & mechanics self-study
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Sports Officiating is a season-readiness self-study tool for referees and umpires — a private way to work through the rules, case plays, and on-field mechanics of the games you officiate. Thousands of questions, every one offline.
It's not a trivia app. It's built around how officials actually prepare.
SEASON READINESS
See how thoroughly you've reviewed each rule area — Reviewed, Proficient, Strong — and watch your accuracy climb as the season approaches. Your profile stays on your device; email or copy a readiness report to yourself anytime.
PRACTICE TEST
Take a self-administered practice test of any length, drawn fresh across the chapters, with a score and chapter breakdown at the end. It's practice — not an official certification.
SPORTS
High School Baseball, Basketball, Football, and Volleyball — rules, case plays, and two- and three-person mechanics. Plus Youth Baseball and Youth Softball, each following its own program's rules.
• Study by rule chapter, by case play, or by officiating mechanics
• Every answer carries a short "why" tied to the rule reference
• Revisit the questions you miss and drill your weak areas
• Works completely offline — every question is bundled in the app
• No account, no login, no ads, and nothing is collected or tracked
Whether you're getting ready for the season or staying sharp between games, it's a fast, private way to test what you know and find your weak spots.
This app is a practice aid, not an official rules interpretation, and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any governing body. Sport and organization names are used only to identify which ruleset a question follows.
