Guess your partner. Bet on it. How much you bet says what you can’t say out loud. Honne Poker is a conversation game for two people sharing one phone. Play it before you’re dating, or years after. ■ How it works The asking player picks one question from three. “Days off — which makes you happier?” “Right now, where were you actually looking?” Then they guess which answer their partner will choose, and bet 1-5 chips. The surer you are, the more you bet. You hide your guess and hand over the phone. Your partner picks their real answer. They can’t see your guess, or how much you bet. Then, on three, you open the result together. ■ The bet says what you won’t The interesting part isn’t winning. If someone bets five chips on you, they’re saying “I think I know you that well.” What’s hard to say out loud shows up in how they bet. ■ It gets deeper As chips pile up, the questions warm up. Small talk → “Morning person or night person?” Honest → “Are you pushing yourself too hard right now?” Heart racing → “First impression vs. now?” Spend your chips on something to do right there. “Share one secret.” “Name where you’d go next.” “Ten seconds of eye contact.” ■ Who it’s for ・Two people who aren’t together yet, but might be ・A new couple with a lot still unsaid ・Anyone whose silences have started to feel long ■ Details ・Two players, one phone, passed back and forth ・84 questions, or 108 with the in-app add-on ・3, 5, or 10 rounds ・No connection needed to play (only to buy or restore the add-on) ・No account, no ads
