Kesit takes the screenshot, lets you mark it up right where you drew it, and gets out of the way. No account, no cloud, no analytics — every screenshot stays on your Mac. Kesit is a privacy focused screenshot utility that stays out of your way. Press a key. Drag a box. The selection stays live — move it, resize it, nudge it a pixel at a time with the arrow keys — until it frames exactly what you meant. Then draw on it, right there on the screen, and copy it. CAPTURE • Entire screen • A region you drag out and adjust • A single window, picked by pointing at it ANNOTATE IN PLACE Arrows, rectangles, ellipses and text, in seven colours and three weights. No second window, no editor to open. You mark up the thing you are looking at, then press Copy. SIZE THAT SUITS DOCUMENTS A Retina screenshot is four times the pixels of a standard one, and a document full of them gets heavy fast. Kesit captures at standard size by default and keeps full resolution one click away, so pasting into Word, Pages or Confluence does not quietly bloat the file. WHERE IT GOES Straight to the clipboard, into a folder you choose, or both. Files are named by date and never overwrite each other. PRIVACY Kesit collects nothing. It sends nothing. It contains no analytics, no telemetry and no crash reporting service. There is no account to make and no server to talk to, because there is no server. Every screenshot you take stays on the Mac you took it on. MADE FOR THE MENU BAR No dock icon and no windows — just an icon in the menu bar and three global shortcuts you can change to whatever you like. SEVEN LANGUAGES English, French, Brazilian Portuguese, Turkish, Greek, Mexican Spanish and Estonian, switchable from Settings without touching your system language. Hide sensitive information before a screenshot ever leaves your Mac. Drag a box over an address, a license key or a customer name and it disappears behind a mosaic — in three sizes, so you choose how coarse it looks. Number your steps automatically. Place a numbered badge and the count goes up on its own: 1, 2, 3. Any screenshot becomes step-by-step instructions, without typing a single number. Also new: a warning triangle, a checkmark and a plain line. And choosing a warning or a checkmark no longer overwrites the color you picked for everything else.
