Speak an appointment and it's filed, with reminders the day before, four hours before, and an hour before. No account, no sign-up, no subscription.
Say it out loud. It goes on your docket.
Human Docket is where you put the things you would otherwise try to remember. Say "dentist next Tuesday at three" and it becomes an appointment with reminders already set. Say "add eggs and milk" and they are on the grocery list. Say "remind me to call the bank tomorrow" and it is a to-do. You do not pick a list, fill in a form, or spin a date wheel. You just say the thing.
REMINDERS THAT ACTUALLY ARRIVE
Every appointment gets three by default — the day before, four hours before, and an hour before. One reminder five minutes ahead is no use when you needed to leave twenty minutes ago. Change them for everything at once or for a single appointment, and set quiet hours so nothing wakes you.
WHAT IT HOLDS
• Appointments, including recurring ones
• Court dates, kept apart from everything else
• To-dos, with or without a due date
• Groceries, and any other checklist
• Notes, for the things only worth one line
• Lists you invent yourself — say "make me a list for custody exchanges"
ASK
A second way to use it. Ask what you have on this week and get a straight answer. Ask it to draft a message about moving Friday's appointment and it writes one — you read it and press send yourself. Ask it to think something through with you, and it can talk back out loud in whichever voice your iPhone already has.
Ask runs on Apple Intelligence, on your iPhone, so it needs an iPhone that supports Apple Intelligence. Everything else in the app works on any iPhone running iOS 26.
IT DOES NOT PHONE HOME
There is no account and no sign-in, because there is no server to sign in to. Human Docket contains no networking code at all — your appointments, notes and lists cannot leave your iPhone, and neither can your voice, which is turned into text on the device and then discarded. It works with no signal, on a plane, in a basement.
SHARING, WITHOUT AN ACCOUNT
Put an appointment straight into your own iOS Calendar, or send someone a calendar file they can open on any phone. Share a list as plain text. Nobody has to install anything or create an account to receive it.
BUILT TO BE READ
Monochrome, in light and dark, with type that stays legible in both. Large targets, plain words, and no screen that needs explaining. If you can say what you need, you can use it.
FREE, AND NOT THE USUAL KIND OF FREE
No advertising, no subscription, no in-app purchases, no upsell screen, and nothing held back for a "pro" version. You get all of it. There is no ad network in here, because an app holding your medical and legal appointments has no business carrying one.
