"Contain the flood before it spreads" Every color on the canvas is expanding — your job is to keep them apart. Drop barrier walls to block the spread before two colors touch, but you've only got so many barriers per level, and every wall you place is one you can't use elsewhere. Plan ahead: predict where each flood is heading before it gets there, because reacting after colors are already close is usually too late. Later levels raise the stakes with more colors, faster spread, and canvas layouts that box you into tighter decisions. Clear a level with barriers to spare and you'll earn top marks — burn through your whole supply and you'll just scrape by. Either way, every level has exactly one clean way through.
