Deep Mode is here. Every story now has a longer read waiting underneath it. Tap Deep Mode at the bottom of any story to get the names, the dates and the numbers behind what you just saw. Clear headings, a list where the facts are a list, and one important idea to take with you. The bottom row of every story is cleaner. Deep Mode sits in the middle, with the heart, share and play on the right. Tell us what you think. Deep Mode ends with a quick way to send us your thoughts, and we read every one.

Next Up Every story now ends with a Next Up slide. It shows the next lesson in that collection and a few related stories, so you never have to hunt for what comes next. One tap and you keep going. Tell us what you think You can now send feedback straight from the feed or from your account screen. Every message is read by the founder, and it decides what we build next. Plus small fixes and polish.

Quizzes, rebuilt. A few days after you read a story, a quiz shows up in your feed to check what stuck. Two kinds now: one multiple choice question, or three true or false statements you swipe through one at a time. The card is cleaner and faster to get through, and every quiz you finish earns points. Not into a quiz? Tap "Don't quiz me on this" and it is gone for good. There is an Undo if you change your mind. One more thing. If you have been reading with us for a while, we will ask you for a rating. We are a small team, and it helps more than you would think.

Collections are here. Every subject you read about now has a home. Open the new Collections tab to see them all in one place, with the ones you favorite kept at the top. Tap a collection to see everything in it: what you have already read, what comes next, and a button to pick up where you left off. Reach the end of a collection and we start writing more about it right away. Come back tomorrow for the next batch. Not sure where to start? Recommended suggests collections built around the interests you picked. Search covers everything you have collected, so an old story is always a few letters away.
