What's New in 1.2.10 • The post-prayer tasbih, redesigned: when the screen is open on the iPhone, the iPhone alone listens. The watch follows the count, vibrates and stays a silent mirror. • Long formulas are said breath by breath: the istighfar and the salam supplication at the start, and the tahlil of the hundredth in three breaths. • The count accepts the natural joining of words when you recite in one flow, without ever counting a different phrase. • Each formula on three lines: the Arabic in large type, the phonetics, the meaning, with the name of Allah in gold. The words light up with your voice, and each series has its own color. • Vibrations that speak: a click for each bead, a double pulse at 33, 66 and 99, a seal at the hundredth. New eyes-closed mode: the whole screen counts each touch. • The seal of the hundred: the ring of the three series and the golden medallion that locks into place. • Landscape prayer: no more exit button you brush by mistake. Hold the button, then confirm "Stop the prayer?". The top strip is taller and its buttons larger.

What's New in 1.2.9 • Pray in landscape: the iPhone now rotates throughout the app. During prayer, the figure and the verse sit side by side, readable from two meters, with a control strip that always stays visible. • One tap anywhere on the screen pauses the prayer; a second tap resumes it. • The Arabic always stays large; the phonetics or the meaning appear right below it. • The teleprompter scrolls smoothly, in three sizes: Normal, Medium, Large. • The rak‘a and the loud or silent recitation can be read from afar, and a subtle glow marks each step. • Prepare in three steps: which prayer, how many rak‘at, which surahs. Shaf‘ and Witr are now separate. • My personal prayer: no more silent rak‘a, the reciter or your own voice.

The tasbīḥ after prayer, complete and by voice: istighfār three times, “Allāhumma anta-s-salām”, then the 99 beads — the ring turns from blue to green to gold — and the 100th, sealed when you recite it in full. A tap always catches up a missed dhikr. Real alarms for every prayer, even in silent mode, with the adhān you choose. The postures now move: four figures — man, woman, boy, girl — plus seated and lying-down modes. Arabic, phonetics and meaning advance in a single step, at the reciter's pace. On the watch, two tiles — obligatory and voluntary prayers — take you to the tasbīḥ in two turns of the crown. Also: a “Do Not Disturb” reminder before the takbīr, nawāfil with their time window, the school of your choice for ‘Aṣr, corrected translations, and a new Premium offer, yearly or lifetime.

Deep black for the night. Tap the moon, and the prayer screen goes dark around the text — on iPhone and on your wrist, where black is native. Your supererogatory prayers (nawāfil), organized. Sunan, Shaf', Witr, Ḍuḥā, Tahajjud, Istikhāra: choose them, place them in your day, and the app reminds you — and tells you when a time is discouraged. Today's schedule, at a glance: your five prayers and what you've planned around them. More reading, less watching. A new 1/3 – 2/3 split gives the text two-thirds of the screen. The Ka'ba on the right bearing. When you're lined up, the arrow becomes the cube. 63 languages. The app is now fully translated.

Bug fixes, voice guidance improvements, and prayer timing refinements.

New — voice guidance is chosen before the prayer, right on the start screen. The reciter stays with you from beginning to end so you can learn, or goes quiet during the silent portions so you can follow the Sunnah. A button stays within reach if doubt comes over you in the middle of the prayer. Tracking and Archive are back: your prayer reports were already being recorded, and now you can finally read them. The madhhab used for Asr is now a setting, and the adhan no longer drowns out your opening takbir. Thirty translation and display fixes: the app speaks your language, all the way into the prayer.

• The call to prayer now opens the correct prayer: the window between sunrise and midday is no longer misattributed. • The first pictogram shows the opening takbīr, then the qiyām. • The prostration witness now states plainly when it could observe nothing, instead of reporting a missed movement. • Call and recitation-voice settings made reliable.

• The teleprompter now adjusts itself: there is no longer a smoothness setting to change. • The teleprompter text no longer jitters during playback. • Choosing the family now takes a single tap: Man, Woman, Son, Daughter. • Hundreds of translations added: the app speaks your language better.

Maintenance update.

Your recitation, finally heard. • The voice you import now stays selected. It was reset every time the app opened, and again when guided prayer began — right before reciting. • Guided prayer now plays your voice, surah by surah. • For a chosen passage, the app no longer recites the whole surah: it stays silent rather than say something other than what the screen shows. • Word-by-word highlighting follows the voice when timings are available.

This update opens the app to new languages. • The app now presents itself in your language across new markets. • Listing and labels revised so it can be found more easily. • Minor fixes and stability.

Salat&Ihsan teaches the prayer, movement by movement. Every posture played in continuous motion, the Arabic word by word with phonetics and meaning underneath. Standing, seated or bedbound: the prayer stays whole. And eight reciters to download, synced to the word.

The Apple Watch app wasn't translated at all — it showed in French for everyone. That's fixed: it now speaks all 63 languages of the app. On iPhone, around a hundred labels that were still in French are now translated too.

Salat&Ihsan now presents itself in eight more languages: German, Spanish, Hindi, Italian, Dutch, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian and Thai. Inside the app, the French texts have had their spelling corrected and their missing accents put back.

Keywords tuned on real searches. And the app can finally ask for your review.

Guided prayer prompter improvements: • The text now scrolls with a smooth, steady motion. • Fixed the back-and-forth on short verses: the text stays stable while you recite. • Scrolling keeps its pace even when the device is busy. • An accidental touch on the screen no longer shifts the text during prayer.
