AUTOMATIC TRANSCRIPTS Druthers will automatically transcribe your downloaded episodes on device. You can turn this off in settings. (And if you have low power mode enabled, Druthers will wait to transcribe your episodes until it’s turned off.) POWERFUL SEARCH You can now search across your podcasts and see results from podcast names, episode titles, show notes, and transcripts. Druthers saves the most recent 180 days of transcripts for search. DROP A SHOW Druthers notices when you haven’t listened to a show in a long time and suggests that you might like to drop it. Some bug fixes as well, specifically relating to artwork.

Chapters. Shows that publish them get a chapter list beside the notes and the transcript — tap one to jump. Where a show's own chapters disagree with what's inside the file you downloaded, the file wins. Follow a show in order. On any episode, Follow from Here tells the queue to work forward from that point instead of handing you the newest episode — which for a series is the ending. A series that finished years ago can be followed the same way. Every row's actions have a visible button now. The swipes still work; they're shortcuts rather than the only way in. A show's own menu is grouped and says what each group is for, and you can unsubscribe from a show while you're looking at it. An episode you keep starting and never finishing stops being permanently next. Not Next keeps it in the queue and lets something else through. Transcripts are readable at large text sizes. The episode title scrolls with the text instead of taking the screen. Clarity lifts quiet speech properly. It had been quietly working against itself, and it stays clean at the end of every episode now. On a loud, heavily-produced show it now holds a hard ceiling instead of pushing past one. Playing faster sounds better. Speeding an episode up uses an algorithm meant for voice, where it used to use the one every player gets unless it asks for something else. Long episodes trim again. An episode with a lot of silence to cut could quietly play whole while Downloads said what it would save. A stream that stops dead now says so, and pressing play picks up where it stopped. Subscribing again to a show you had dropped stops asking what you have already heard. Your history is still there, so the app can answer that one itself. Episodes you finished a long time ago no longer come back as suggestions, and a series you're following keeps going past its fifteenth part.

You can now remove items from the queue. Starting an episode you had marked played no longer resets progress on that episode. Show stats screen shows Autopilot info about that show. Settings screen is better organized. Accessibility improvements are larger text sizes. Improvements to Tighten. Downloads now shows size of transcripts when episodes are transcribed. Better first run experience. Some other smaller bug fixes and improvements.
