Words on a slide. Tap Add, then Text, and a block lands where you can see it. Seven faces, three sizes, an ink of your own when the palette has not got it, and an outline for when the photo underneath is busy. It moves, turns and scales like any other frame. Stickers. Tap Add, then Stickers, and the grid opens on what is trending, so there is something to look at before you type anything. Add is one row now. Photos, Text, Search and Stickers, four tiles on a line, and Search from there looks through photos and stickers at once. The four orders in Arrange reorder the slide you are looking at rather than every photo in the project. Two fixes. A project whose save the phone interrupted now saves anyway, and a block of words stood on end no longer grows a slide it is not really on.

Arrange now opens on a row of layouts. Tap through the ones your photos fit and the slide rehangs itself, with the photos still in the order you put them in. Twelve of the layouts are new, edge to edge with no paper between the photos. Also: projects that quietly refused to reopen now open, including ones with backgrounds you had set aside, and the editor no longer stops when your phone offers to translate the page.

NEW A project can be thrown away. New project used to offer two answers, keep working on this one or set it aside, and setting aside is right for work you might want back. It is the wrong answer for a false start, which then sat in Your projects being scrolled past. There is a third answer now, Delete it and start new, which takes the arrangement and the copies Cuadrito kept and leaves nothing behind. Your own photos are untouched, since they were never Cuadrito's to begin with. It asks a second time before it goes, the only place in the app that does, because it is the only thing here that cannot be undone. Picking several photos from a slot fills the layout instead of stacking them. The "+" on an empty slot used to take the first photo and drop the rest on the slide as loose frames, piled over the layout you had just chosen. Tapping a slot now says where the batch starts: the first photo lands there and the others run on through the layout's other openings, coming back around to any before the slot you tapped. A batch also fills those openings in the order the eye reads them, top to bottom and left to right. FIXED Projects save on iPhones running iOS 18. The app writes a project's photos into the phone's own private file store, and the way it asked for that only exists in iOS 26 and later. On anything older every save of every photo failed from the first one, so Your projects sat on screen and could not keep a single project. Those phones take the other road iOS has always had now, and projects save the same as anywhere else. A photo the phone has cleared no longer costs you the whole project. When storage runs short the phone reclaims saved originals from under a project that still names them, and reopening used to fail outright, with everything else in the project out of reach with it. A project opens now with the photos it still has, the frames that held the gone ones taken out of the arrangement, and a line saying so. One photo can no longer take down a whole save. If a photo's file stopped answering, or the phone had no room to open it again, the save failed with that photo's name and nothing came out. The slide is drawn from the copy already on screen and the save finishes. The same is true on Lay out, where that photo keeps the copy it has and stays in the set, looking softer than the rest until the next lay-out asks again. What you share is drawn from the original files either way. A phone with no room left now says the project has stopped saving and what fixes it, rather than failing quietly under an editor that carries on. When the photo library refuses a set, it says why in plain words: a declined permission, a request the library dropped halfway, or no room left on the phone.
