- Signing out now starts a fresh account right away, and signing back in brings everything back. - Fixed subscribing on iPhone, where Apple's payment screen could fail to open.

- Setting up your stats is now optional: skip it and the Log tab shows what you ate, with a one-tap way to add your stats for daily targets when you're ready. Nothing is prefilled anymore, so your targets are always based on your own numbers. - A glass of water or ice no longer adds calories, and fresh foods like apples, grapes, beets and peppers no longer log as 0.

- New: fiber, sugar, saturated fat and sodium for every food and every day, with a goal for fiber and limits for saturated fat and sodium (set your own, or a sugar limit, under Personal info & goals). - Tap "More nutrition" under your daily rings to see them; the link turns red when a limit is passed. - New: an optional carbs-per-meal target, shown against each meal. - When a food's sugar isn't known, the app says so and shows the most it could be, instead of a misleading 0.

If your Premium came from a friend's referral code or a trial period, you now get a heads-up the day before it ends, and a clear note when it does — instead of finding out from the paywall. Burgers and tacos no longer pick up the numbers for a bun or taco sauce. Avocados, juice and coffee show in natural amounts (fruit, ml, fl oz). The upgrade screen no longer says you've used today's scan when you haven't.

Scans are faster and more accurate. MealCanvas now uses a newer vision model that, in our tests on 169 meals with known calories, cut the typical error in half, stopped over-counting, and answers in about a third of the time. Also in this update: • Eggs, yams, ribs, buns, pizza slices and other short-named foods now use the nutrition database instead of an estimate. • Database entries with an impossible calorie density for the food in the photo are no longer used.

Invite friends and you both get Premium. Share your code from Profile — your friend gets 14 days, and you get 30 days added for every friend who joins. Also in this update: • More accurate portions when a dish is photographed alongside a side. • Water, black coffee and diet drinks stay at zero calories. • Portion units always match the food. • Referral rewards show correctly on the Profile tab, and redeeming a code from the subscribe screen takes you straight back to your scan. • A refreshed launch screen.

• MealCanvas has a new look — fresh app icon. • Replace an item by scanning its barcode — tap the item, then "Scan a barcode instead." MealCanvas learns your usual products, so future scans suggest them. • Fixed a scanned item being added to your meal repeatedly when the barcode stayed in view. • Subscription prices now show in your local currency. • Fixed a brief freeze when leaving the camera. • If camera access is turned off, the Capture tab now offers Settings, Gallery, and Voice instead of a dead-end button. • Apple Health now reports the true connection state if you decline access. • Voice log no longer cuts off early when your thumb shifts while holding the mic. • Clearer wording throughout, plus accuracy and safety improvements to goals and daily targets.
