• New in Plus: alerts for severe weather, rain about to start, a daily briefing and limits you set on your own station's readings, for up to three saved places and two stations. Pick the briefing's hour, the severity you care about, and quiet hours that keep the night silent. • New in Plus: history for one saved place and up to two stations. Turn it on, then tap any reading to chart the last day, week, month or year, and slide along the chart to read any moment. Your station also sits next to the forecast, reading by reading, and the forecast card shows what changed since yesterday. • Hide any reading or card on the forecast page. • Sun & Moon shows whether the sun is rising, at its peak, setting or down, and its two columns stay in line when the moon phase name wraps. • Holding a place or a station now opens all of its settings in one card: rename, history, alerts, compare, refresh and delete. • Adding a place or a station is one card, step by step, with help finding your station's keys, every station found added at once, and a searched place shown to you before it is saved. • If Plus ends, places and stations past the Free limit are locked rather than deleted, and come back if you resubscribe within 90 days. Settings says what is paused and until when. • Fixed a deleted station coming back the next time you opened the app. • Fixed text, placeholders and the keyboard being hard to read when Cobalt's light or dark look differed from your phone's. • "Updated" times now roll up to hours and days instead of counting minutes for ever.

• A different sky every time you open the app: an animated weather background, with a switch in Settings. • Loading is one animation everywhere now, no more shimmering grey blocks. • The widget's Updated time now follows your Time format setting. • The Location card now shows the year.

• Cobalt now speaks ten more languages: German, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, Turkish, Indonesian and Vietnamese. It follows whatever language your iPhone is set to. • Wind directions are translated too, everywhere they appear: current conditions, the hourly and daily rows, your station card and the wind chart. • The wind chart no longer cuts its first bar in half at the edge of the plot. • Charts no longer draw a stray second line under the bottom of the plot.

• iPad now gets a layout built for the bigger screen, matching the Android tablet layout • Hourly charts: the value you scrub to appears above the chart instead of under your finger, and the labels hold still while you drag • The wind chart's numbers no longer overlap its bars, and the hour labels sit clear of the chart • Weather alerts now appear in your language wherever the issuing agency publishes one • Dates and decimal marks now follow your phone's language and region • Adding a place: each step is titled with the row you tapped, Back sits at the bottom left, and old search results are cleared when you leave • Refreshed the user guide: corrected tips that no longer matched the app, added the live notification, and the back arrow stays put while you scroll • Consistent text weights across the segmented pickers and the chip row, and card headings now match the rest of the app
