Tally Steps shows you how far you have walked today and nothing else. No coaching. No streaks. No badges for getting out of bed. It reads the step count your iPhone and Apple Watch already record, and it draws it plainly. TODAY A single ring against your daily goal, with distance and active energy underneath. Drag the goal, or type an exact one. THE MONTH, AND THE YEAR Every day as a square, darker the further you walked. Tap any day to see it, page back through earlier months, or open the year to find one. ON YOUR WRIST A watch app, and three complications for the corner, circular and rectangular slots — so the number is on your watch face without opening anything. WIDGETS Small and medium for the Home Screen, plus Lock Screen widgets. They keep up in the background. LIGHT OR DARK Follows your phone, or pin it either way in Settings. PRIVATE BY DEFAULT No account. No sign-up. No analytics, no tracking, no third-party SDKs. Nothing about your activity leaves your device — the app reads Health, stores a copy on your phone so the widgets can draw, and that is the whole of it. FREE The whole app, with nothing held back and nothing to unlock. If you would like to support it, Settings has a tip jar. It is entirely optional and changes nothing about the app. Requires access to Health for steps, walking and running distance, and active energy. Tally Steps only reads; it never writes anything back.
