Every place is built by hand from recordings of somewhere that exists, and then set running on that location's own clock and sky. Put one on and leave it. It asks nothing of you.
REAL PLACES, RUNNING LIVE
A bamboo grove in Kyoto. A black-sand coast in Vík. A lava forest at dawn on Jeju. The Amazon outside Manaus. A monsoon veranda in Kochi. New places arrive as they are recorded.
IT IS THE REAL HOUR THERE
Each place reads the clock in its own timezone and moves through dawn, morning, day, dusk and night, so a bird that only calls at first light only calls then. Online, it checks the conditions there every fifteen minutes. When it rains in Kochi, it rains in your room. Check it against a clock if you doubt it.
WHAT IT IS FOR

An open-plan afternoon, when the room is keyboards and somebody else's call. A place gives all of it somewhere to go, without asking for your attention in return.

The hour between finishing and sleeping, when you want the room to stop being the room you worked in.

Set the timer and the place fades out on its own, hours after you stop hearing it. Nothing to turn off at three in the morning.
THE PLACE IS INHABITED
Things call, move, and pass through on their own hours, arriving from where they would arrive. You are not putting on a track. You are sitting somewhere while it carries on around you.

Focus, Rest, Sleep, or Meditation, for when you don't want to choose a place. In Focus, the room swells to mask as you work and eases back when you stop.

With AirPods, the place holds still while you turn your head. Motion sensor only, never the camera and never the microphone. Off by default.
