Chill Capy is a modern take on the classic virtual pet: a capybara who lives in a hot spring, wears a yuzu on his head, and is completely, permanently unbothered.
Feed him snacks. Give him baths. Soak with him in the onsen. Dress him in ridiculous hats. He'll blink at you, squeak, and be genuinely thrilled you exist.
A PET WHO NEVER PUNISHES YOU
Classic virtual pets guilt you into coming back. Capy doesn't. Skip a day — skip a week — and he never dies, never runs away, never lectures. His mood droops, he gets dramatic about snacks, and the moment you're back he's delighted. Care is a warm routine, not a hostage situation.
A HOT SPRING THAT LIVES
His onsen follows the real time of day: sunrise light in the morning, stars and steam at night. Yuzu bob in the water, ripples spread, and as Capy levels up the neighborhood notices — a bird moves in, then a turtle, a duck, a frog. Decorate it with lanterns, bonsai and fairy lights.
ON YOUR HOME SCREEN
Add the widget: Capy in his current outfit, his mood and his line, your streak and the next event, on your Home Screen or Lock Screen. It keeps up through the day, even with the app closed.
THREE TINY GAMES
Yuzu Drop (catch the falling citrus), Bubble Pop (pop the fizz) and Steam Says (the stones hum a pattern — hum it back). Games earn coins for snacks, hats and decorations.
DRESS HIM UP
Over thirty fits across four slots: straw hats, flower crowns, heart shades, knit scarves, duck floaties.
EIGHT SEASONS AT THE ONSEN
Something is always blooming: Warm Hearts in February, Sakura Soak in spring, Hydrangea Rain in June, Summer Splash, Moon Viewing under the harvest moon, Spooky Springs, Autumn Leaves and the winter Yuzu Festival — straight out of the real capybara onsen tradition. Each brings its own weather to the hot spring, limited fits and decorations, and bonus coins.

Your capy is a scannable code. Meet a friend, scan each other, and your capybaras soak together — friendship grows to five hearts and pays out daily. Far away? Send your invite link: friends who have Chill Capy get a playdate, friends who don't get the app first — and a welcome gift. Send postcards from your onsen to your story. Bring three friends into your crew and earn the Friendship Bandana — it can't be bought. No account needed.
STREAKS, QUESTS AND KEEPSAKES
A daily reward calendar, three little missions a day, achievements, lifetime stats and a daily capybara fact. Streak freezes exist because life happens.
NO ACCOUNT, PLAYS OFFLINE
No sign-up, no login, no wifi needed to care for him. Your capybara lives on your device — and a backup code moves him to a new phone.
