Nothing runs in the background. The work happens only when the sky actually changes, which is to say: rarely, and quietly. QUIET BY DESIGN Location is optional. You can type a city instead. If y Chronoscape asks only for coarse location, accurate to about a kilometre, and uses it for two things: the weather where you are, and sunset times. Weather comes from Open-Meteo, a free public service. Your coordinates go there and nowhere else. There is no analytics, no advertising kind. On disk, Chronoscape keeps only the image currently on each display. Requires macOS 14 or later. Chronoscape Pro is available as a monthly or yearly auto-renewable subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase, and you can manage or cancel in your Apple Account settings.
