BURSUlink — connect to computers behind a router Install the BURSUlink agent on a computer at home or in the office, and SSH, Telnet, RDP, VNC, AppleRD, SFTP and FTP reach it from anywhere — no open ports, no VPN. A connection that goes through an agent carries a mark in the catalogue. Remote Desktop Copy and paste text between the iPhone or iPad and the Windows session, in both directions, and hear the computer's sound. The pointer takes the shapes the server draws, and the desktop is sharp on Retina screens. Clipboard, sound and sharpness can be set per connection. Sessions that reconnect by themselves When the network drops or the phone moves from Wi-Fi to mobile data, the session is redialled in place. A red chip shows which one is reconnecting, and the "Connection lost" window says why if it cannot come back. Eight languages The app now speaks German, Spanish and Portuguese — for Portugal and for Brazil — beside English, Russian, Ukrainian and Georgian. Also A password record has a comment field, as on the desktop. Libraries updated to their latest versions.

• tmux for SSH: a session keeps running on the server and, after a lost connection, you return to the same screen. Turn it on with a checkbox in the connection editor and give the session a name. • WinRM connections now list with their own icon and colour, can be created here for the desktop client, and say plainly that they open on the desktop. • A SOCKS5 proxy or a tunnel set up on the desktop is no longer lost when the connection is renamed or saved from the phone. • SSH and WinRM have different icons.

SSH keys now live in the credential store: save a key once and point any connection at it. Every SSH connection says how it logs in — password or private key — and asks for that one only. Deleting a stored key, passphrase or password is a button with a confirmation and an undo, and works even when the vault is locked. The credential picker shows your folder tree and keeps the folds you set elsewhere. The password box has a reveal button, and is read-only when a saved credential supplies the login.
