Keep 3 folder bookmarks free forever, even after your trial ends. A trial or one-time purchase now supports up to 10 bookmarks, increased from 8. Your first 3 in the saved order stay free; reorder to change them. Drag a folder onto the edge of your screen to bookmark it. If macOS needs permission, confirm the folder in the system chooser. The folder itself is never copied or moved. With more than one display, choose which screen holds the bar. A screen you unplug is remembered, and the bar returns to it when you plug it back in. Each bookmark now carries a mark as well as a color, so two folders with similar names stay easy to tell apart. Marks can be turned off in Settings to show color only. The management window has been rebuilt: your bookmarks sit on a rack with an inspector beside them, so renaming, recoloring and reordering happen in place instead of in a separate window. A rebuilt quick guide shows every gesture, and the purchase page is clearer about what the trial covers and what happens when it ends. Colors and text throughout the app were retuned for legibility, including when Increase Contrast is turned on. Settings can now copy a diagnostics report, which helps if you ever need to describe a problem by email.

Right-click a bookmark to show it in Finder, copy its path, edit it, or remove it. Turn on launch at login right when you finish setup. New bookmark colors, chosen to stay apart for color vision deficiency, and clearer text throughout the windows. In the last two days of the trial, the hover card tells you how long is left. Folders on a network share (SMB, AFP, NFS) are now recognized as shares: they get their own connected and disconnected states, and the bookmark tells you to connect the share in Finder rather than to plug a disk back in. The controls at the top and bottom of the bar now notice when macOS stops showing them and restore themselves, instead of waiting for you to quit and reopen the app.
