GolfTakt helps golf groups and course teams maintain a smooth pace throughout the round.
One player connects the group at the first tee. During the active round, GolfTakt shares the iPhone’s anonymous group position with the participating golf club.
The app displays:
• Current hole
• Minutes behind pace
• Current pace status
• Expected finishing time
• A private close-up map of the group’s latest GPS position
• Important messages from the course team
GolfTakt is designed around clear privacy boundaries:
• No player account
• No player names or email addresses
• No advertising or cross-app tracking
• Location sharing only during the active golf round
• Automatic or manual stopping when the round ends
Background location allows the group to remain visible to the course team while the iPhone is locked and safely stored during play.
Optional notifications provide pace changes, round updates and important course messages. A paired Apple Watch can display these notifications automatically.
GolfTakt works only at participating golf clubs.
