• Joining by QR code, redone: every group has the new-style code; scanning shows the group name and member count, and one tap joins. • Messages appear instantly: tap Send and your message shows in the chat right away, even on a slow network. • Voice calls: a phone button now sits at the top right of private chats. One-to-one calls are end-to-end encrypted, ring on the lock screen, and leave a call record in the conversation. • During a call, tap the arrow at the top left to go back to the chat and keep typing; the green bar at the top brings you back to the call. • Earpiece mode for voice messages: hold the phone to your ear and playback switches to the earpiece automatically; long-press a voice bubble to always use the earpiece.
