We reworked the ads. The banner now sits further away from the play area, and full screen ads no longer open while your finger is on the screen. No more accidental taps. Nothing changed in the game itself: classic, levels, map campaign and online all work exactly as before.

The stationery cupboard is open. Online matches now cost one page; you get a free page every day, plus three ad rewards on top. Open the pencil case and pick a pencil: a sharp one lets you take more squares per turn, and it narrows as the pencil blunts. No pencil ever changes your coin-toss odds. Single-player stays exactly as it was: free, unlimited, no pages needed. Also in this update: an evening reminder (five evenings a week, switch it off in Settings) and a fix to the tracking permission prompt.

Double your reward. • At the end of a level or a map campaign you can now double the coins you earned by watching a video. Watch it or don't — your reward stays either way. • The coins you earn at the end of a campaign are now shown on screen. • Ads no longer stack. Coming back to the app after an ad won't drop a second ad on top of you. • "Watch & double" now actually doubles — it paid short for players with treasury upgrades. Fixed. • Fixed a bug where double-tapping a rewarded video could lose the reward.

Continent war, overhauled. • You can now see which squares your rival picked. Their move replays in front of you: the selection, the coin, the captured squares. Even if you close the app and come back, the move you missed is shown once. • Matches last twice as long. Your per-turn pick limit is no longer your entire territory, so a continent does not change hands in three flips. • My matches now actually lists your matches. Close the screen and come back later. • The back arrow no longer forfeits. Leaving takes a separate button and a confirmation. • The map fills the screen on open, and no longer resizes while you pick. • The coin launches the moment you tap Heads or Tails — no more staring at a still screen while the server answers. • The coin slows down when few squares remain. The flip that ends the match now spins heavy. • Playing against the phone, you can see the rival’s picks too. • Bottom ad banner fixed. • New launch screen.

ONLINE MULTIPLAYER IS HERE • Play with a friend: create a match, share the invite code, they join with it. Still no account, no email, no password. • Continent battles: Europe, Asia, Africa, North America, South America, Oceania. Boards generated from the real world map, with kingdom borders and sea. • 2, 3 or 4 players. The match starts when the lobby fills. • Turn-based and asynchronous: you don't have to sit and wait for your opponent. Take your turn, close the app, come back later. • Shot clock: a vanished player no longer locks the table. Run out of time and your turn is passed; three passes in a row and you're out. • My Matches: every game in progress in one list. FIXES • Fixed a bug that could lock the game on an "update required" screen at launch on some devices. • Classic mode, the 100 levels and the map campaign still play fully offline.

Map mode has been rebuilt in this update. EXPEDITIONS — conquer the whole world Before, the game stalled once you'd taken everything within reach. Now you can spend coins to launch expeditions to distant shores and establish a beachhead on new continents. The goal is the entire map. PLAGUE Every so often a plague sweeps the world and every kingdom loses ground. Emptied tiles are marked on the map. WHEEL AND DAILY REWARD Earn coins just for showing up each day. Spin the lucky wheel, or watch a video to double your reward. TAKE BACK YOUR LOSSES When a coin toss goes against you, once per game you can take back the tiles you lost. LEVELS NOW ESCALATE The 100 levels are split into four tiers: Easy, Tough, Hard, Brutal. In the last tier your rivals barely make a mistake.
