By popular demand, multi-town friend connections are here! Add the people you know in any town across the US. When you post, choose to keep it within your town, or to include your town and your friends in other towns too! Privately message your friends with DMs wherever they live. Business Pages: If you've recommended a business, you can confirm whether the person who claimed its page really owns or runs it. Pages still waiting for neighbors' confirmation are labeled accordingly. Fixes and polish throughout.

Polls: Ask your neighbors a question and see what the town thinks. Results show once you vote, and votes are anonymous. Never miss the rest of a conversation: When someone comments on a post you've commented on, you'll hear about it. You can mute any thread. Just posted? Share it with a neighbor who'd want to see it, right from your feed. Fixes and polish throughout.

Business Pages: Recommend a local business you love, claim a free page for your own, or invite an owner you know. Tap the shop icon on your profile. Verified by neighbors: A business owner's page earns the badge once neighbors recommend them. Recommendations now opens with a box to recommend a local business, right above the list. Towne-wide announcements from Marc, Towne's founder, are labeled Everywhere. If a vote or an edit doesn't go through, you'll now see a message. Posts now fit on smaller iPhones like the SE. Signing in is more reliable, and if a code doesn't work you can send yourself a new one right there. Also fixed: edits made from a post's own page show right away, and approving a tag from notifications now sticks.

Your photos. Your privacy. Easily view every photo you ever shared anywhere on Towne: in posts, comments, even DMs. Want to un-share one? Delete it from your album and it comes out of everywhere you shared it. Be neighborly. Invite your friends. Invite with your own QR code, a shareable link, or straight from any post. Plus Faster feeds, sharper notifications, and a pile of fixes.

Invite links now open straight into the app, so joining takes one tap instead of hunting for a code. Sorry! Search moved to the tab bar where you'd expect it. Recommendations show more of what your neighbors actually said. And if you're the first person in your town, the app now says so, and helps you invite your neighbors.

Recommendations is now open. Neighbors can now recommend the local businesses they actually use and find recommendations from others. No stars, no ratings, no complaints. Just recommendations from people you know by name. This version also runs on iOS 18 and newer; sorry to anybody who was locked out before.
