Rearrange a PDF's pages on a visual board you reorder by dragging — plus merge, split, rotate, and remove pages.
Open a PDF and every page appears as a thumbnail. Drag a page to move it, click pages to pick the ones to take out, and save when the order looks right. Nothing is written until you save, so an arrangement can be tried and abandoned freely.
What Pagenook does:

Every run saves a fresh copy beside the original, named so nothing is overwritten. Your original is never changed. If a save wasn't what you wanted, Undo moves the new file to the Trash — never the original.
Password-protected PDFs are left untouched. Pagenook does not open, decrypt, or strip protection from a PDF: it says so plainly and stops.
Everything happens on your Mac. Pagenook itself makes no network requests — your PDFs are read and written locally, and never uploaded.
The first time Pagenook saves into a folder, it asks once for that folder — that's macOS protecting your files, not Pagenook asking for anything unusual. The panel comes up prefilled; click Open, and that folder is never asked about again.
New to it? "Or try it with a sample PDF" opens a bundled six-page sample, so you can see the page board working before handing it anything of your own.
Not a PDF editor: no text editing, no form filling, no OCR, no signatures, no watermarks. It arranges pages, and nothing else.
One of a small set of quiet, single-purpose Mac tools — each one does exactly one thing, and nothing else.
