Workaut Club
Train with your friends
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPhone. Not verified for macOS.
Nobody quits a workout when their friends are watching.
TRAIN WITH YOUR FRIENDS
Workaut is built around the people you train with. Your friends see when you start a session, what you're working, and how far in you are — live. They react. They comment. You do the same for them. Miss a day and it shows. Show up and everyone knows.
A LIBRARY THAT ALWAYS HAS AN ANSWER
Push Pull Legs. Hybrid Split. Programs for hypertrophy, for strength, for glutes, for 45-minute days. Browse the marketplace, pick the one that fits the next eight weeks, and start today.
SESSIONS THAT WALK YOU THROUGH IT
No blank page, no guessing. Warm-up, then every exercise with its sets and target intensity, one step at a time. Log each set as you go and watch the session fill in on your Lock Screen and Dynamic Island while you rest.
PROGRESS THAT'S HARD TO ARGUE WITH
Real adherence, not vanity streaks. See the percentage of today's protocol you actually completed, your streak across rest days, your sleep, your hydration, and where you are in your program week.
APPLE WATCH AND HEALTH
Take your workout on your wrist: start from your Apple Watch, log every set and follow your rest with heart rate and calories. If you connect Apple Health, Workaut reads your workouts (type, duration, active calories, average heart rate and distance) to log them in your day, and saves the workouts you do with the watch to Health. It is optional and you turn it on from your Profile. Calories and heart rate are estimates; Workaut is not a medical device. Your Health data is never used for advertising or sold.
AT A GLANCE
Home Screen widgets with your session, your friends' latest workouts, or both.
Train beyond your limits.

more • A refreshed rest screen: everything inside the bar, cleaner and free of distractions.
• Pull to refresh works from anywhere on Home.
• An Apple Health workout now only completes its own cardio.
• The weight and reps wheel looks cleaner when you select a value.
• Minor improvements.
1.2.5 7h ago
• Your sleep comes in on its own: with an Apple Watch or any device connected to Apple Health, you see "Your night" and we stop asking.
• Fasting: when you start a fast you can say what time you really began, and you see it in a pill with the time and stage.
• A new rest screen: big number, a bar that empties and "Skip rest".
• Your program no longer moves ahead during weeks you don't train: if you go 7 days or more without training, you pick up where you left off.
• Settings: choose which prompts you see when you open the app.
• Pull to refresh on Home works again.
• Supersets and drop sets show what's next more clearly, and the Live Activity follows the app language.
• Fixes: the camera waits while you decide whether to allow access, macros are easier to set up, plus other improvements.
1.2.4 1d ago
• Fix for the "Your archive" camera: the shutter and controls are fully visible again, and after you take the photo you see the photo, not the live preview.
• Creators: your earnings for 7 days, 30 days, 12 months or all time, with the split of every sale.
• Better layout on large unfolded screens in portrait.
• Minor improvements.
1.2.2 5d ago
• A new camera for your workout photo: it uses the iPhone camera, with tap to focus, zoom, 0.5× lens, flash, timer and volume-button shutter.
• The bell lets you know when someone starts following you, and you can follow back with one tap.
• Circuits: fix the reps of a round you left halfway.
• A cleaner guided mode when an exercise doesn't have a video yet.
• Creators: every program has its own Usage and Sales page, and your earnings history goes month by month.
• Fixes: swiping through a friend's workouts no longer fails, plus other improvements.
1.2.1 Oct 24
What's new in this version:
• Workaut on your Apple Watch: start your workout from your wrist, log your sets and run your rest timer with heart rate and calories. Your Apple Health workouts show up in your day too.
• New guided mode videos, recorded for your program.
• See who's training right now: friends live in your Feed, with the exercise and set they're on. Tap the heart to cheer them on.
• Open Gym: build a free day in seconds; pick cardio and it's set up for your intensity and equipment.
• Your program front and center in Workout, and a rebuilt "Adjust today": switch day or program without getting lost.
• Records that feel like it: break one and a medal drops in when you finish the exercise.
• Swap any exercise by searching the whole catalog, now bigger, with clear names and no duplicates.
• Creators: real earnings, 6-month history and what you keep per program.
• Nutrition in English too, and correct macros if you use pounds.
1.2 Oct 21
What's new in this version:
• See who's training: when a friend starts a workout, their card pops up with their photo, and one tap on the heart sends them a cheer live. Cardio sessions show up in purple, and you'll know when they finish too.
• Leave a workout open for an hour without logging anything and we'll remind you to pick it back up or close it.
• Exact weights, no rounding: the wheel moves in 0.5 kg steps for light weights and 2.5 kg for heavy ones. If your dumbbell isn't there, tap "Other weight?" and type it in kg or lb; the app remembers the unit for each exercise.
• One way out of a workout: "Abandon workout" lets you pause it, finish it there, or discard it and start over.
• Failure and rest-pause on time: on the last exercise the app suggests them before the session closes, not after.
• New iPhone-style alerts that drop down next to the Dynamic Island. And no more "Saved" on every set you log.
• Rate your program when it matters: after weeks 1, 2, 4, 6 and 8.
• Open a program straight from a link: Workaut links take you to its page in the Store.
• Fixed cues for lat pulldown, front pulldown, rope triceps extension and dips.
• Your profile photo updates right away, plus improvements to English text and the navigation bar.
1.1.2 Oct 10
New: Day Pass. Feel like something else today? Build a one-day workout: pick muscles, format and time. Your program pauses that day and picks up tomorrow where you left off.
Also: the person who did the workout can heart your comments, and you can see and unblock people right from Followers.
1.1.1 Oct 9
A new way to finish your workout: the camera opens with your story already laid out.
Take your photo, see how it looks and share it. Plus, see your friends' photos from today when you finish.
1.0.20 Oct 6
You can now start creator programs you bought or redeemed: open the program and tap "Start".
In-app program editor: photos step with cover, gallery and crops; modes and techniques per exercise (reps, time, to failure, RIR, drop set, rest-pause, superset).
Language follows your phone.
Featured creators with same-size cards.
1.0.19 Oct 3
Search the Marketplace: tap the magnifier and find programs by name, creator or goal. Results show up as you type.
Creators in the Store: their programs carry their photo and handle, "Featured creators" gets bigger cards, and their page shows how many times people have trained with their programs.
A creator program's page now shows "Your next 7 days".
Add your profile photo when you sign up. If you don't have one yet, we'll remind you in Social, gently.
Clearer filters: days per week fit in a single row.
A kinder rest-pause: 60 seconds of rest before it starts and 15-second pauses.
A workout card shows the day you actually trained, not the day it was scheduled.
The in-app program editor now shows circuits, EMOM, AMRAP and intervals with their moves.
Fixes to the bottom bar when you open Settings and Stats.
1.0.18 Oct 2
If you create an account on a phone someone else used, you start from scratch: their workouts, meals and photos don't carry over.
New bottom bar: a lime pill slides to the tab you're on and grows with its name; while you train it shrinks out of the way. And every screen now fades in at once, without jumps.
You decide the day's order: in "Up next" tap ⇅ and drag the exercises left to do. The one you already started stays on top until you finish it.
Rest-pause: after your last set, 12 s pauses with the same weight until you can't do more. Drop sets and rest-pause are announced in big type.
Circuits: EMOM, AMRAP, Tabata and intervals get their own full-screen cabin, with rounds and a countdown.
Guided cardio and fit test: timed steps, intervals with a cue, and a distance test that measures how long you take.
Timed sets now have a clock: the card empties, warns you in the final stretch, and asks nothing when it ends.
Rest survives closing the app, and the sheet to log your last set comes back when you return.
Failure mode can be one drop, two drops or down to bodyweight. New ways to prescribe: RIR and max hold.
Rest is set per exercise, and the estimated workout time is more accurate.
The day's list says what type each exercise is, and the bottom bar is a capsule that gets out of the way while you train.
The app in English no longer slips back into Spanish mid-workout.
What you delete in supplements and sports stays deleted.
1.0.17 Oct 1
Videos in guided mode: tap "Watch video" and see the exercise actually performed, with sound, pause and credit to whoever filmed it. It starts silent and fades in and out. With no internet it isn't offered, and the screen stays exactly the same size.
Rest timers now alert you even with the phone locked or the app closed.
Share your workout as a story: your session photo with the day's workout in big type, your numbers, and the program you did, with its cover and creator.
In a superset, each exercise shows its own video.
You log the set first, and only then are you offered the to-failure option.
Logging your sets is more honest: only what you actually touch gets saved, and the last set of every exercise now has a place to be logged.
In to-failure mode, reps slide or tap one at a time.
Every wheel gives a light tick as each number goes by.
When you create your account we ask for your first and last name. Your last name is not shown in the app.
Spain is now in the country list.
1.0.14 Sep 25
Rest timers now alert you even with the phone locked or the app closed.
When an exercise has a video, guided mode lets you watch it with one tap (free programs).
Share your workout as a story: your session photo with the day's workout in big type, your numbers, and the program you did, with its cover and creator.
In a superset, each exercise shows its own clip in guided mode.

1.0.13 Sep 24
Following is simpler: one button. Follow anyone you want to see train, see who follows you, and choose whether to follow back.
Supersets, sets to failure and drop sets are now logged the way you actually train them: each half with its own reps, and the rest that really applies.
Redeeming a code takes you straight to your new program.
Each creator's page now shows their bio and social links.
1.0.11 Sep 20
Fixes a bug that left the Programs section blank.
1.0.10 Sep 18
Your workout, easier to follow.
New
• Workout cabin: the current exercise with its photo, a big title and a bar with your sets. What you've already done folds into a summary you open when you want.
• Redesigned guided mode: the movement clip leads, technique is always visible and the button is always last. Warm-ups too.
• When your rest ends, guided mode slides up on its own, ready to complete the next set.
• In Social, an unfinished day shows how far you got.
Fixed
• "Build your own program" showed male photos to people who hadn't set their sex.
• "My programs" looked cut off and scrolled sideways.
1.0.9 Sep 17
A clearer workout cabin and a Store that curates itself.
New
• Workout cabin: the current set lives at the top with its chips, and the button says exactly what you're closing ("Complete set 3 · 8 reps · 85%"). Done work folds into one line and what's next stays out of the way.
• The "Day complete" seal now shares your workout in one tap.
• A "What's new" shelf in the Store with the latest programs.
Fixed
• The rep logger stopped at 40; it now goes as far as you do.
• Coming back to Social sometimes hid the top bar. It always shows now.
1.0.7 Sep 11
Alerts that arrive on time, fasting stages, and a badge that told lies.
New
• Fasting, reworked: fasting stages, closing your eating window, and an alert when you hit your goal.
• Notifications now show who on top and what below, like you'd expect from a social app.
Fixed
• The "finished their workout" alert sometimes never went out: closing the app right after finishing delayed the sync and the alert died. It now sends instantly.
• The red badge on the app icon stayed on with nothing new inside. It clears itself now.
• "Accepted your request — you're friends now" never arrived. Now it does.
• The workout photo is no longer a dead end.
1.0.6 Sep 4
Internal improvements and fixes.
1.0.5 Aug 27
Notifications finally work.
Fixed
• Workaut never asked for permission to send you notifications, so it didn't even show up in your iPhone's Settings. Now it asks, and the alerts arrive: reactions, comments, friend requests and your workout reminder.
• The new-program announcement kept coming back. Now it shows at most three times and then stops.
1.0.4 Aug 23
Performance improvements and bug fixes.
1.0.3 Aug 21
Control over who sees you, and a home screen that finally knows what day it is.
New
• You can remove a friend, right from their profile. It works both ways, and we tell you before.
• Blocking now actually blocks: on top of ending the friendship, that person stops showing up in your feed even if they add you again.
• A screen listing everyone you blocked, so you can see them and unblock whenever you want.
Fixed
• Leaving the app open overnight left the home screen stuck on yesterday's date. It updates on its own now.
• Notifications: if your iPhone had never asked you for permission, Settings sent you to a screen where Workaut wasn't even listed. Now there's a button that actually requests it.
1.0.2 Aug 14
This update is about one thing: never losing a workout you already did.
Fixed
• Syncing could make already-logged workouts disappear. It was a race between finishing a session and the upload. Solved.
• Finishing your last set and leaving could leave the session open forever.
• Photos in your Social archive vanished after 30 days.
• The end-of-workout celebration was getting cropped, and sometimes showed 0 sets.
• The photo carousel ignored swipes inside a sheet.
Better
• Your library now separates Recent from the programs you haven't started yet.
• Every program page keeps its button within reach, with the header pinned as you scroll.
• The lock screen Live Activity carries the Workaut logo instead of a system icon.
• If your Premium lapses you get 3 days of grace and a notice that doesn't read like a debt collector.
• What you've already done in a session folds away on its own, and the next-step button follows you.
1.0.1 Aug 12

• Pull to refresh works from anywhere on Home.
• An Apple Health workout now only completes its own cardio.
• The weight and reps wheel looks cleaner when you select a value.
• Minor improvements.
