Your machine stays the source of truth
Porta is not a hosted IDE, remote desktop, or vendor-specific chat wrapper. Your code, shell, tmux sessions, and agent runtimes remain on machines you control. Saved connections and credentials stay on your device by default. Free local features work without a Porta account; online features are used only when you enable them.

Porta Pro
An optional auto-renewable Porta Pro subscription enables cloud features for up to three devices. Monthly and annual plans are available. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in your App Store account settings.
