ON THE PITCH - Watch a team-mate's free kick play out on camera: the wall lined up, the run-up and the strike from the exact spot of the foul. - On that penalty or free kick you move your player with your finger: find your space, gamble on the rebound, and if you get there first, finish it yourself. - Score twice and the penalty is handed to you, no draw; if a team-mate got the brace, you decide whether to give it up. - Ten more goal celebrations, thirty-four in all: the belly-flop into a puddle when it rains, the bottle the crowd lobs at you, and both hands to your ears asking for more noise. - Seven new things can happen to you out on the pitch: clattering a sprinkler, slipping in a puddle or hoofing the ball clean out of the ground. - Get injured and you really go down and the medics come on; and a penalty or free kick taken by someone else gets its own replay. THE GROUND - Every club plays at its own ground, with its own shape and skyline: you know the place before your side even comes out. - The stands write to you: a THANK YOU with your name when they love you, a banner when your goal tally hits a round number, and a TRAITOR at the ground of the club you walked out on. - The crowd sounds real, and it swells with the number packed inside: from a village ground to a sixty-thousand cauldron. THE MUSEUM AND THE GOODBYE - THE MUSEUM of your career opens: you walk round it on foot and the cabinets light up as you come near, one for every kind of trophy you won. - Your send-off is yours: you come out to the centre circle with the trophies laid on the grass, the ground rises to you and you go round the touchline applauding them back. - And you can come back from retirement: pick from the clubs that still want you and play on, ten points down on every attribute. THE MARKET AND THE AGES - Signings now weigh position and penalize age, not just the rating: no more all-keeper rankings. - Fixed the age of two out of every three players in the world when a career starts. - The card tells you which slot a player fills, and the ranking no longer prints his neighbour's age. OFF THE PITCH - The broadcast keeps the whole thread of the match: drag back to reread it, and every goal carries its own button to watch it again. - In the shootout, every name is back over its own player, and whoever scores the winning penalty stays on the spot. - The match summary tells you how much energy you spent. - AWARDS folds by tier, and every row says which rarity it is. - The ACADEMY is no longer a set of windows: the pitch itself is the diagram. - Picking a club is back when you start a career, and the pause button can finally be seen. THE DERBY AND YOUR VICTIMS - A tifo on the stand, flares, and the away support in its own end. - The victims in your record book get their own scene, with the opponent's crest on every ball. - The morning-after front page can carry your surname. YOUR CUPS, WITH THEIR BADGE AND THEIR COUNTRY - Every trophy carries its competition badge, and names the country where you won it. - The end-of-season scene also says which country each cup comes from. - An achievement icon is no longer a flag: it says which category it belongs to. AND IT PLAYS BETTER - Tapping PLAY MATCH no longer stutters, and loading runs smoothly from start to finish. - Approach and intensity change with a single tap, with no window to open. - Wages stopped being multiplied by fifty, and people's names have their accents back.

Paid with real money, and it lands in your career straight away. - The money in the hub has a "+": tap it to go straight there. - Nothing else changes: the whole career is still playable without buying anything.
