More than one person paid? Record each person’s contribution separately from how the expense is split. Available for regular expenses, receipt-based expenses, and recurring expenses. Settling up is clearer, with exact payment amounts, partial payments, and protection against accidentally recording the same payment twice. Invitations are easier to use: expired links are refreshed before sharing, you can paste the whole chat message containing an invite, and previously used personal invitations show a clear next step.

Someone added you to a group by name, before you had the app? Now you can say so. Open the group's invite link and you'll see the people who were added by name but never signed in. Pick yourself, and everything already recorded under that name — the expenses, the balance — becomes yours. Nobody has to send you a special link any more. You'll see exactly what you're taking on before you decide, and a group admin can undo a wrong pick. Also fixed: the invite page used to show a code with no way to use it. It shows the link now, and the app accepts either. And signing in with Google or Apple no longer blames our server for something our server was never asked to do.

Splendo now runs on iOS 18 and later. Until this update the App Store said Splendo needed iOS 26.5 — the newest version there is. That was never something the app actually required. It was a build setting nobody had looked at since the project was created, and it quietly kept almost everyone from installing at all. Nothing else has changed. What changed is who can install it.

Leaving a group no longer requires your balance to be zero. Somebody who leaves now stays in the balances by name, and the figures reconcile with their own total — which also fixed a rounding error that quietly spread a departed person's debt across everyone else in currencies drawn without decimals, like the Turkish lira. The invite card now shows how long the invite really lasts. "7 days" was fixed text, and whoever sends an invite can choose anything from 1 to 30. In the expense breakdown, the group headings no longer carry the opposite colour to the amounts underneath them, and the total is no longer painted in the colour that means somebody owes you. Settings has two new rows: Help and support, and Rate Splendo.
